Can we please fix the menus?

I know there are a million problems in MLB the Show world these days but it shouldn't take a full minute to open a pack. I'm really saddened by the state of the game today. I came from Madden years ago which was a trash heap and was blown away by how superior the Show was in every respect. I felt that same awe right up until this year's version of the game. Between the laggy menu screens, state of play, shallow content, constant online cheating, exploiters and the Vault utterly full of filth, I'm really sad at what has become of my all time favorite and most admired game and development team. So can I please get a menu fix just to make me feel a little better about it all?

No, it's more like we reused game assets and code from 2006-2026, and our game is slowly collapsing in on itself.

I have zero problems opening packs on PS5

I have zero problems. Tap the track pad. Press R1 and go to inventory. Then open packs. You can open them from literally any place in the game even your franchise. In DD you press the menu button and it takes you right down to the bar with open packs button.

I get a long pause lag when checking progress on programs, changing lineups(usually have to force close) and when exiting showdown or battle royale.

That is what’s taking a long time. And it’s not the only thing. Better than Friday but still bad. Could be affecting people differently but it seems pretty widespread.

Andddd hilariously enough I just got kicked from a vs cpu game and now it get a message that “online features of the show are disabled” this is wild man

I just quit the game and reopened and servers are down.
But all this stuff takes a long time:
Entering a collection
Collecting cards.
Selling cards, including quick sell.
Switching between menus
Anything triggered by moving spaces in Diamond Quest.Oddly enough, gameplay once I get in has been fine. Even on Friday. It’s just doing anything else.

Navigating these menus is ridiculously infuriating. How in the world can you have lag on a [censored] menu screen. Does anybody check this [censored]? And why is there zero response or update from SDS? Oh, thats because they know [censored] up this game this year and said "[censored] it" and moved on.
