WBC Mini Seasons Exploit Action

Today, we are taking action against a number of accounts that violated our Terms of Service by participating in an exploit within the WBC Mini Seasons activity.
This is the first step in our enforcement efforts, and we reserve the right to take further action against accounts that participated in this exploit, or any other violation of our Terms of Service.
These actions are intended to help maintain a fair and balanced experience for all players and prevent similar violations in the future.
We're also working on a fix that will restore the WBC Mini Season’s rewards that were temporarily adjusted to mitigate this exploit. We expect to share more information in the near future.

@TripleH-4481_PSN And exploiting the hader and king glitches is just as much of a tos violation as the pack glitch. Only difference is those have been around for over a year and they only act when it hurts their pockets

Everyone who exploited the WBC Mini Season's glitch did it on purpose.
Not everyone who uses King and Hader are doing it on purpose.
Plus I think the King & Hader "glitch" only applies on Legend. I've crushed them on AS & HOF.
Still, I won't touch those cards because of the community sentiment on them. -
@Bridge-Piece_XBL it very much does apply on hall of fame and all star. Also 90% of the people using them know exactly what they are doing. I face king or hader almost every game. No other pitchers in the game are used as much as them

@pricewarriors_PSN A vast majority know what they're doing, yes.
But I don't know - maybe I'm too old to "understand" this glitch. But I have absolutely destroyed both of these guys (and their glitched pitches) on All Star & HOF.Doesn't seem much different to me than when I fully square up a ball with Tulo against a non-glitched pitcher and it goes like 90mph off the bat. It happens, so I don't think too much about it.
I can't speak to Legend because I don't play Legend online.

Basically it just makes every swing you take against them register as a contact swing and it absolutely kills your exit velo. It is very noticeable on hof/legend especially once you understand what the glitch is. I have definitely crushed both of them before but it is still very noticeable to me at least -
I repeat what I have written elsewhere. I don't see it as cheating to use something written in the game code as it was written by SDS. I don't see this as a case of using a code weakness to amend the code, or even how the code operates.

good. I feel like my pack odds since the WBC glitch have been much worse, probably because of the so many free packs the exploiters generated. Hopefully we can start pulling diamonds again!

The WBC exploit is a cheat and you know it. It gave unfair opportunities to an exorbitant amount of extra cards for all who utilized it. This in turn affected both the marketplace and online gaming, thereby having a negative effect on those who didn't exploit. Splitting hairs over whether to call it a cheat or an exploit or whatever you want to call it doesn't matter. They did something that negatively affected everyone playing by the rules. They deserve to be punished.

And you have every right to have that opinion but that is not how it is written into the TOS, which I noted elsewhere, where it specifically mentions using bugs, glitches or "unintentional game mechanics"
By that definition, whether any of us think it is cheating or not, it is a violation of the terms.

@PriorFir4383355_XBL u can have that opinion to all there own and I do agree in a sense it was a bad job coding or a glitch in the code. But exploiting these issues are against tos. And if u break tos u are risking ban.

I'm sure this will be another well thought out action by a faceless corporation which will have hard evidence of exploits just like they vacuumed up card flippers and restricted their apps without any proof. Sds is the ICE of video games.

they actually have evidence here tho - just have to check the game logs for a bunch of 0-0s on I think it was May 31st?

Dude those are cards. Don't want them in the game well you can't do anything about it, as there's a drive it deep left field by Castellanos, and that'll make it a 4-0 ballgame.
