125 Speed Cool Papa Bell

I was doing the new storyline of the shortstop Willie (I mean no disrespect but I cannot remember his last name atm) and I noticed one of the base runners had 125 speed. I paused it and the name was C. Bell. Have we had another +99 speed player?

In all fairness…They used to say Cool Papa could turn off the light switch & be under the covers before the room turned dark.

The interesting part of that is they actually did it, it was a hotel in Pittsburgh (not sure of Pittsburgh) that had old wiring, they noticed the delay of the light turning on and off when hitting the switch and they set Satchel up for a prank with it.
I think it was Bob Kendrick who told this ,but I can't remember where, and don't know who was with Bell and helped him prank Satchel -

His actual 87 card that you earn only has 90 speed and 99 steal.

@Dolenz_PSN yeah, I went and looked at mine. Wonder if this is an unreleased card or a mistake when they set it up.

@LHUBison58_XBL somebody who still has 25 downloaded that go look and see if the 99s in last years storylines stats resemble there actual 99s.

I don’t remember a player ever having over 99 speed. But that’s just my memory. I’m sure someone has more concrete evidence.

They have “fake” card attributes for the storyline all the time. Not sure why.

It’s just for fun gimmicks. When you use the pitchers one game they have 5 different curveballs and then next game 5 different fastballs.
