Made the decision to turn casual

The Show has always been my first priority in gaming. I’d never go play something else unless I was completely caught up on all grinding & had made WS that month. But now - I’m just done. It’s taking MUCH too long to build up stubs. And I feel like I’m just spinning my tires most of the time. I’m also tired of nothing being fixed - Even the easy stuff like why is the wheel still void of all visual effects? A couple months in & that’s still a thing? That bait & switch they pulled with Chipper? Unforgivable.
I love baseball so I’ll still play but it’s now just one of several games I’ll play going forward. Not letting it hog all my gaming time anymore. I’m just going to grind the free cards when they drop a new program & that’s it. Will then go play other games like I just preordered Forza. I’ll snag all the paywall cards when they post the forever program. F you SDS for ruining what was the undisputed king of team building modes in sports games. Now you’re no better than the rest. Seriously…Go F yourselves REALLY HARD.

I will have to check that out at some point. I have been playing Crimson Desert every day since Mar 19th and still not completed it yet.

i'm teetering on this as well. I'll never be like....GOOD BY SDS....i'm just not putting games on hold anymore that i want to play because i feel like i'll fall behind. Its started with RE, i've been playing more and more of D4, Forza next week, GTA 6, the blood of dawnwalker, Starfox remake looks good. I also need to play the first 2 entries of the FF7 remake. I'll play the show when i can or better yet when i want.

THIS…DD used to be worth putting everything else on the back burner. It’s just not anymore.

I think people holding out hope for the Konami game are going to be disappointed. It looks great, but the gameplay is awful. It was a huge letdown in my opinion.

@LuvMyXBOX_XBL shut the front door. i just purchased a new monitor because i thought it was the monitor not the game...seriously. I didnt know this was a thing.
oh well i guess i got a better monitor lol

Nah, I think that's because you've been conditioned to SDS's wacky ball physics/flight physics. It's significantly more challenging to square anything up, and the result of the swing actually matches the contact itself.
It's a bit less arcadey, which will throw you for a loop if you're expecting gameplay like MLBTS. I'm not out here saying it's gonna blow the doors off or anything, I think personally it's a bit better in terms of a baseball sim and worth another look- this time with the full game.

@DeleteyourTTVBTW_MLBTS the combat is the only reason I have played it yet. I payed the first one, spent about 5 hours trying to figure out the combat, and then quit.
It looks amazing tho.

Had to upvote since 199 hours in and still about 800k from LS collections and I think 13 vouchers from Miggy.
My favorite part might be Chipper collection. I have done almost everything you can do in the game and have 2 of the cards needed to get him out of the 12. Yea 2. Absolutely comical at this point.
