I won't be able to complete 2nd inning in time
-
@go4stros25_PSN
I've logged 250hrs and i still need 18k. Need to do a ton of grading this week so I may not finish. I should've finished the 125k i needed over double xp weekend but game play XP was throttled during this inning compared to 1st inning. So unless some intern keyed in the wrong value like Bungie programmers supposedly did when they were caught doing the same thing, it's intentional.I played 5 hours Sunday night consisting of a couple of conquest games and several 3- and 9-inning mini season games and got a whopping 20k XP. That's with double XP going on. Something was seriously off this inning.
-
@JDHalfrack_PSN Did you finish all the TA before the 2nd inning started?
I did enough to get 30 Jolt cards (how I got the 30 I don’t quite remember). I may have gotten a few more than the 30 required. At this point there are 6 more Jolt cards I still need. I don’t remember which ones, but I know that yesterday I looked and I haven’t gotten either of the Houston ones yet for some reason.
My goal has been very simple this year: beat mini seasons with a very specific set of cards depending on the mini season. I guess there are no astros in any of those lineups

-
@go4stros25_PSN They certainly could. In years past it was doable. This year is a disaster.
100%...I've never had as much trouble getting XP or hitting at least one of the boss packs before (to be fair...there used to be three...)
-
I have a job and only play evenings and weekends, I had no trouble finishing it this time, of course the TA program really helped but I got there, i'm on my 4th wheel spin i believe.
So without the TA program you don't finish?
I think SDS got bad data from the cheaters farming mini seasons. I already have TA done and still need maybe 100k to get to bosses. Yea, they messed up their calculations big time. I play a decent amount. Not as much as first 3 weeks because it is a waste of time and unrewarding.
-
@JDHalfrack_PSN This explains why you may have not had the same troubles with xp. There are xp chunks in the TA paths. For those of us who finished them in the 1st inning, we didn’t have that help during the 2nd.
-
Yeah played a bunch of mini seasons for 10 packs which netted about 3K stubs on average. Not worth it at all.

It’s 4500 per team. So 135,000 total. Not as much as you think. I got at least half of that for the 1st inning; probably way more since it’s before the first Jolt card I think. But it could have certainly helped one way or another.
I’m telling you guys… mini seasons is the way to go. Not sure why this is so frowned upon but other monotonous grinding options aren’t…
I’ll even do you a solid: download “Neighborhood Park” from the vault (I uploaded it this morning so you can all enjoy it) and play mini seasons with that stadium. You can knock out an entire 13-game season in about 2 hours (7 regular season; 6 playoffs) and gain a lot of XP, PXP, and packs in the process.
-
@JDHalfrack_PSN I mostly play mini seasons. It’s not that great. It’s better now with double xp, but 135k is a ton. Thats a quarter of the whole path. That’s like 50 mini seasons games worth without double xp.
-
I knew I would finish this one after being out of town for 16 days of this inning. I should end up just over 300K which I don't think is too bad for all the time I missed.

@JDHalfrack_PSN You keep saying this like your stadium magically grants more XP. It doesn’t, you are getting the same HRs people already get on normal stadiums. No stadium lets you finish mini seasons quicker. They all take 7 games then playoffs. They all take 2 hours. Neighbourhood park doesn’t change time/space relativity. People have already know about exploit stadiums since a week after create a stadium came out. Even with those 10% of DD players have the program finished.
You played for hundreds of hours like me. That’s the secret. I can admit it, you think you cracked a code others can’t figure out. There is ZERRRRROOOO additional XP from playing mini seasons on repeat. Zero. Less than one. Nil. Love, and every other turn a phrase that means nothing.

Just taking a look:
850K have the low tier Jackie
650K have Rick Ferrell
81K have Randy
32K have Babe -
@Teak2112_MLBTS yikes
-
@Teak2112_MLBTS I wonder how that compares to the first inning.
-
Woof...what a drop off.
-
@Teak2112_MLBTS I know that I own both Randy and Babe, but had to purchase them for this Inning.

@Teak2112_MLBTS I wonder how that compares to the first inning.
890K with Devin Williams (first new threads program card)
163K with Acuna
106K with MuneWould have expected more honestly. Also would have expected a more even split between Acuna and Mune
703K Schwarber
467k with Yamamoto -
@teak2112_mlbts that’s a pretty big difference, though I just realized you’re comparing Ferrell to Yamamoto instead of comparing Doerr to Yamamoto or Ferrell to Kyle Schwarber
-
For those that dont know, if you go to the parallel screen for a card which shows x out of x players, you can use l1 to get to p0 which shows the number of cards earned total
-
I will probably finish right at the last minute. Definitely a harder path than normal. I only play 1-2 hours a day.
I play the same but not everyday probably 4-5 days out of the week, I'm sitting on 400k on the XP path. I'm very strategic, if you don't play ranked, you have to play events in order to be in the neighborhood. I'm mostly offline except I also event grind. I still don't think I will make it probably be 30-40k short. Which is better than last inning where I only got half of it completed.

Couldnt remember which was the lowest tier inning card, added Schwarber
