I see what you guys mean, this isn't baseball

I have enjoyed playing the Show this year.
Is it perfect? No, but I still have fun.I see alot of people talking about the all or nothing aspect of this game.
I have said many times that I am an average player.I just won a RS game 9-2. No big deal, then I looked at the boxscore.
I got 9 hits, 8 of which were HRs.
With the exception of one single, everything was an HR.This is not realistic, it's not baseball.
Where is the hit and run? Where is the rally where you get a couple of singles and drive them in with a double in the gap?I see this when I play offline, but online it is totally feast or famine,
I can see why some people are frustrated. -
Sad thing is i can put money that most of your homeruns prolly came off good/okay or good/good and most of your perfect perfects were outs lmao
-
2 HRs were perfect/perfect. But all of my other hard hit balls were right at someone.
I understand guys being in the right spot, but come on this is ridiculous.
My BABIP was .0625 (1 of 16) that is not realistic.
-
I just double checked my math and box score...
Yep 1 of 16 on balls put in play. Nobody is that unlucky. -
I feel you man. I had a game the other day where I had 14 hard hit balls put in play and only 8 were hits (most of which were homeruns) my opponent went 9/11 on hard hit balls put in play (most of his were homeruns as well) I ended up losing by a run I believe.

Hitting isn't great and i hear you guys but for me the number one issue is the Russian roulette fielding. Every time a ball is hit to one of my fielders I hold my breath. I lost 4 games in a row in MTO with the Yankees yesterday because of fielding. I had to restart from the beginning.

so stupid and they don't care because they are making money

Just think how much worse it'll be trying to find a gap in the OF when everyone has 99 Mantle, 99 Mays, and 99 Gwynn/Griffey/Ichiro at some point. Small ball died in The Show in 18. That year it was HR or bust. 19 contact hitters were useful early in the cycle, but once everyone had incredibly fast and highly rated OF, gaps were nearly eliminated.

Won't matter because whoever is in the outfield can just get hit in the head for extra bases.

The hitting seems right on point this year. The game is pretty good.

Nice try Ramone, i want the feedback to say at least good contact when the ball is in the middle of the pci not okay

Hitting is essentially 19's random outcomes that favors non-squared up contact, but with the addition of "perfect." Still too many lineouts/flyouts and chased/jammed bloop hits....and not to mention the obscene number of check swings that make "too early" swingers physically impossible to strike out.
20 is an improvement over 19, but far from on point

I used contact hitters all year last year. A single with Ozzy is as good as a triple.

Because idiots keep buying packs & stubs.
I totally stopped playing this game to keep me from getting tempted to give them any $$$.
