40,000 XP
-
It’s only for the pack, easy pass as I’m out after my 5 wins and Peralta. Way to easy to make stubs anyway don’t need the pack.
-
Yeah 40k is ridiculous for an event that last 5 days
-
This should be half the PXP or an ultra pack. Not worth it at all.

Hey, they tried something new. I think both this and the way to get Nimmo were big whiffs.
But trying to reward people who want to play events a bit more is a good idea, so hopefully they try again with something a little less absurd.
Winning 11 games on All Star in mini seasons to get Nimmo is not a big whiff. If you go less than 11-0 during this time then the reward isn't for you.

The game has difficulty options for people that enjoy them, forcing players to choose one they don't like for a no sell card is universally bad game design and should never even be considered. Even the extreme program can typically be completed on rookie if you have a LOT of time on your hands.
Its just an incredibly bad path to go down, even if winning 11 games on all star isn't, in my personal opinion, very difficult.

Just finished the 40,000XP. My rewards - 4 players from 2 packs. 3 pulls were Jeff McNeil which I already had. Only pull I needed was Brendan Donovan. Will sell McNeils for about 2500 stubs each for 7500 total stubs. I averaged about 1400XP per game and that may be inflated. If that was the average it would take me 28 games to reach the 40K xp. At 15 minutes each, that is 7 hours of game time (I believe they said it would only take an hour or two for these multiplayer programs in their videos before release) to reach those 2 packs. NOT WORTH IT!!!. I also don't like that I am forced to play multiplayer to complete a themed program. I HATE ONLINE GAMES!!! I don't like people dragging their feet hoping you quit. I don't like people using the slide step knowing it causes a lag in the swing which makes you late on every fastball. I don't like being 61 yrs old so I can't do the pinpoint pitching (causes cramps in my fingers) so I am forced to use the classic pitching where you have no idea where the pitchis going. I don't know how many times I tried to throw a sinker low and away only for it to center cut the hitting zone to be turned into an HR for the opponent. Did I say I DONT LIKE MULTIPLAYER!!! Sorry rant over

This amount needed was a joke to begin with… no that you can’t even play on a Sunday… let’s see if @sds cares and adjusts…but we know they wont

40,000 pxp for one lousy pack is beyond absurd. Ive played 22 games and have 22,000. Insane. You need to play about 40 to 50 games. I swear they employee morons over there

Love playing Events, but reward is too small for effort. I don't mind them encouraging people to play All Star or HOF difficulty- there isn't enough reward in most modes right now to go higher difficulty. An extra 2 percent chance inDQ? A small amount of pxp increase? It rarely justifies playing the higher difficulty

Get out of here with that sensible and logical take. Those aren’t allowed here. /s
Seriously, I agree with you. I think they tried something new for the first time in a while. It was a swing & a miss, but at least it was something different. I think 40,000 XP in the event is indeed absurd, but I will give them credit for trying something different.
I personally didn’t have the time to put into it.
