I mean on one hand I get it..... but on the other hand all the prospect golds are [censored] so why be mad about your team getting a usable future star card?

I call them “Fiction Cards”. And I agree nobody wants them! I haven’t wanted them from day 1!!!

For all we know, these cards were supposed to be something else, like a Topps Monthly card for a player that had a hit start.
Ever think the fact that there is no season right now, might be affecting this kind of content?

No excuse for prospects being rated higher than trout , the last batch was a stretch, this is an insult

All the cards are fiction cards. They are a developer/developers opinions on someone’s ratings.

i kind of like the idea of the future stars, i just wish they would've gone with new players. i mean, the white sox have eloy and giolito right there, how do they not deserve an upgrade or their first promo card??? but yes, i share ur feelings towards players getting a second promo card already

A decent point, but there’s no excuse for releasing a whole set and collection of prospect cards, then immediately dumping upgraded versions of those same players on us.
They have a whole vault of real cards they could use, but they’d rather just make their own. It’s honestly both lazy and not lazy at the same time.

Sure...except they have a library of over 750 active MLB players (25 man rosters x 30 teams) and at least 100 legends they could have used for Flashback cards instead.

I wouldnt mind this at all if they just made the card of somebody that doesn't have one. To release two diamond Madrigals is just insane. Especially so close together. I mean really, making two of the same guy makes ZERO SENSE. I am dumbfounded by this one. It makes no sense

Sure...except they have a library of over 750 active MLB players (25 man rosters x 30 teams) and at least 100 legends they could have used for Flashback cards instead.
