I will go on record as saying that I have never been a fan of these type of fake cards where SDS uses some arbitrary voodoo method to project some players ratings.
But that ship has sailed unfortunately.
I would prefer more single season flashbacks. Obviously we’ll probably get some in the last two stages, but there’s undoubtedly enough options that SDS could use for every stage.

Wouldn't surprise me if every team has a gold future stars card and then another diamond at 120 points or whatever.

Mets have some interesting prospects, Mauricio, Alvarez, Baty, Allan and Gimenez, but no one that fits in the FS set. We had Tomas Nido last year... lol.

Yes, they are. Any card reward has a blue highlight around the box (See the previous TA Rewards, 2nd Inning, Player Program, Events, Evolution, POTM, etc), and the final Stage 2 SPRING reward at 120 points has the blue highlight.

Ah, I was curious about that but I wasn’t on my console to check. I was wondering if the FS cards were awarded at 95 stars or something and the stage 2 peak reward was at 120 stars. Thanks for verifying

I was hoping for some flashbacks, like postseason, allstar, etc. Some future stars is good too but not all but that's just my opinion. I dont really care for prospects. It's cool what we have now but I like playing with the known live players and throwback players.

The SDS content team had their work cut out for them on this round. Some teams have one obvious choice for FS (ex: Eloy for the White Sox), other teams have multiple good options to choose from (Bo & Vlad, or Lux & May), but I would say most teams don’t have anyone who would fit nicely between “Prospect” and “current” star. And then there’s the issue of guys like Alonso, whose first year was so good that he’s already a diamond so calling him a “Future Star” card is almost an insult.
Oh well. The SDS content team is the only part of that company that I still have a lot of faith in, so I’m sure they’ll put together something cool.

I think the 120 will be the future star as if you scroll to 120 on team affinity it states "Stage 2 coming in the future" and all the other say coming soon.

Wait... the tweet says they will be ATTAINABLE by this Friday. Affinity stage 2 does not drop until Friday, it can't be stage 2 then, right?

I thought about this too and couldn’t figure out if we had a “future star” or not. Pete’s already a star and I would put McNeil into that category as well. If he’s not then I will gladly take a Flying Squirrel FS card!!! That Nido last year was so disappointing lol

I dont thinks this is TA stage 2 related. The tweet says 30+ FS. I think this will be a replacement for Topps Now and will included moments and packs. There will be and overall collection with rewards.
I also think the 1st set of will be available to obtain starting today. The tweet said will all be obtainable by THIS FRIDAY and not ON FRIDAY the wording is very specific

I think you’re looking into this too much.
The most obvious answer is usually the correct one.
I went back and looked at old tweets that previewed something and they have never used that language before the always used arrives THIS FRIDAY after the update or arriver around noon the wording is very different

i think if it was team affinity related, they would say so
'Future Stars WEEK, attainable by Friday' . Not 'Future Stars coming to TA this Friday'
also its 30+, more than 30
