Honestly pitching and fielding aren’t terrible.
It’s just fielding to me. I would honest to god have around 5 more wins if it weren’t for my defenders not being able to catch routine pop flys.

Even if you were right, which you aren’t, the use of “fake news” prohibits you from getting an apology for anything or anyone forever. And the expression doesn’t even begin to apply in this context.

I am still dumbfounded that there are people with 95-10 records. I will never call myself elite but they are playing a different game. When people are that much better than everyone else (Reggie Stocker cough, cough), there is always an underlying issue.
People can't have it both ways. You can't say that there is a problem when a player is 95-10 and also say that they game caters to casuals and SDS has ruined the skill gap. The 95-10 record is not the result of someone getting lucky over and over again. It is a skilled player who is really good.
That said, there are problems that need to be fixed without a doubt.

I have never seen a MLB player hit a ground ball off of a 95+ mph fastball above the strike zone!
All of this lol. I was gonna upload some pics and video of just what you're talking about but at this point its just whatever people gonna defend. So many balls ive hit and replayed, looked like it should of went somewhere else off the bat instead it kinda warps straight to a infielder. I get more double plays on mid to high good/good then anything else

I’m in the same boat as skepple here. Without a doubt the pitching and defense need some work, but hitting is pretty darn good for me. People complaining about hitting on HOF difficulty just aren’t that good.
I’m not elite, but I can still place the pci frequently on HOF and receive really good feedback for my input. The people who claim they’re getting good/okays on perfect placement frequently are full of

Pitching is petty much the same as last year. They didnt really improve on the issues we were having. Hitting is better than last year, and thats not debated. Fielding is the only real issue right now as far as gameplay. And that wasnt so bad at first. Fielding has just become bad in recent weeks, like with each new patch. So I am not sure what you want people to defend?

Except most of people’s complaints up until last week were about hitting, that’s all I’ve defended, fielding needs work, pitching needs tweaks, hitting is fine if it stays like this, still a heck of a lot better than anything we’ve had the last couple years
This is true. Hitting is really solid right now. Pitching is even good enough. If they just fix the flyballs the game would be really strong.

This is arrogant. According to you the game should ONLY work for people good enough to be in HOF. The game should play well on all difficulties. Every aspect of this game is a one step forward and two steps back.
To me the problem with hitting is that good/okay do happen on perfect placement. The game is homerun derby. Perfect/perfect shouldn’t mean moonshot every time. Not to mention the room for error in hitting is too small both on contact and timing to a lesser degree

That is where you are wrong. I sent 2 bug reports in the very first 2 weeks. I got confirmation emails and then nothing. Bugs are still there! They just plain and simple don't care! It took Trevor May getting pissed off in the players league for them to even release a statement saying they are working on fielding! Maybe if everyone shouts at once and they don't win sports game of the year this year, then they will listen.
I for one will be talking with my money and not pre-ordering next year. In fact I might even wait a month and buy it used. I am an offline player anyways and there is not point for me to pre-order the digital deluxe edition every year when all I can do with my DD team is play conquest!

SDS doesn't care. I believe next year they will be expanding to other consoles as well. All they care about is releasing packs/content for people to buy! The gameplay has been bad for years now! That's what happens when you have a monopoly on the industry. If there was another baseball game out there to compete they couldn't get away with this kind of behaviour.
