Bring back Sounds of the Show
-
I used to upload some of my favorite quotes like " there's no crying in baseball " and " you play ball like a girl " I don't know if they still have that feature.

Play Spotify

@jaychvz_XBL unfortunately not

Until they bring back Sounds of the Show, I will not update my game. I’ll just keep playing 24 on the PS4 until they come to their senses
-
They won't bring it back as much as I would like them to.
Part of the problem is that the PS5 does not allow you to copy files to the internal drive, which means that for them to add it back in they would need to support people's various usb thumb and external drives.
I don't know if the Series X or Switch has the same type of restrictions but I can understand them wanting more feature parity across all versions.

I got mlb 24 the show free on ps plus. I specifically play the ps4 version so I can have my sounds of the show back. With the retirement of the last gen releases with this franchise, I will not buy this game again until sounds of the show comes back. Custom music, chants, jeers, hr, and walk up music must return.
-
@ElvisD007_PSN same here. I’m never buying this game again until it comes back.

I'm with you on this. I had so much more fun with the game when I could listen to my own music. SDS also slaps an E for everyone rating on the game, with lots of rap songs that contain vulgar lyrics. I don't care if the bad words are censored. Either use a wider array of music, or restore sounds of the show.
I've been playing previous versions, because this has been removed.

Some of these songs are just straight up toxic/mind numbing and anti music. " Gotta do better gotta do better"" buy your family some groceries"
I will admit the ones I liked are
Cherry tree
Shortyville
Glimmer
And a couple others but the others were bad. -
Usually, the first thing I do is turn off all of the music but this year there were enough songs that I did not hate that I left it on. I think there were maybe 8-10 songs I did not mind. If I played as much as many around here do then I probably would have grown tired of them and turned it off completely. But I don't play that much and I take long breaks so I did not burn myself out on them.
I did ask the question at the beginning of the year why they chose so many songs with explicit lyrics for the soundtrack. I know that they used the censored versions of those tracks but it seems like it would just be easier to find tracks without explicit lyrics.

My favorite this year was The End. Some runner ups would be Boogey Man and Levitating
