What's left if I was to join the game now?

I decided to skip this year because of my displeasure with game issues I had. I noticed this morning in the Black Friday Sale on Playstation the standard version is down to $29.95. What's left to play in the game at this point?

Everything. Looks like the new inning dropping today is the Forever Inning.

Online? Probably not a ton.
If you just want to grind for content offline then there is quite a bit. All the Team Affinity grinds, Conquests, lots of programs, mini seasons, etc.
Today started the last inning program of the year which will get you one boss from every inning so far, all the cornerstone players (and their player programs), and all of the XP path card rewards (usually just 1 per inning). These were all cards you could not get if you missed them originally.
Will it be enjoyable to you? That is the big question.

IMHO, the grind is enjoyable but the gameplay can make it frustrating. Forget online multi-player. Better off just paying the stubs for the players on the multi-player XP Path if you really want them. It's cheaper than having to buy new controllers.

I was never a good online player, so doing that really isn't an issue since I won't. (And besides, everybody has such a head start on me with all the better cards there's really no point.) But I really wondered about offline stuff. I don't think I will go for it, but thanks for all the information.
