It was teased last Friday and then said about in the live stream that it was coming but it's nice that they're adding new legends

Pretty sure the attributes on these cards will be hitting heavy. Just like the normal HRD cards.
And if theyre labeled as HRDX, unless they add another voucher towards John Donaldson, they'll be binder fodder.

We dont need yet another set of power heavy cards though, so hopefully since they just did moonshot these are more balanced. But the card I want most is Murphy, who was [censored] defensively anyway

Yay, Wainwright is in the program so at least I have something to play for today.
Of course that is only like 1/3 of the cards so I assume we are looking at a Pack. A collection? Maybe a few scattered in other game modes?

Unless these guys get postseason and flashback cards, this is just a weird content drop and an even weirder choice by SDS. Don’t get me wrong, a lot of interesting, fun names, but late September is odd for some of these guys.
It is a little weird, but they did something similar with the "HRD-X" series in 2022 and I actually liked some of those cards. @SaveFarris_PSN can check me on the timeframe.
At this point in the cycle, I'll take anything "new" that I can get.

I have no idea.
He is a 99 and a DH so there is really no reason to hold back any hitting stats for fielding considerations.
When the Cards team faced the Cubs team he put up the most points (more than Ankiel or Zobrist or Arrieta).
Wainwright led off for the Cardinals, putting up a remarkable 21 points on 13 home runs to stake the Cardinals to an early lead

Not complaining at all because having this many new names dropped into the game this late into the season is pretty crazy, but just wish we could've gotten Jose Reyes and the Toddfather as well for this program since they're both involved with the HRDX this year.
Have to assume with this many new Legends and cards overall, there is going to be a separate collection for this series. Curious who the final program reward would be if they go that route.

There is an easy way to determine this: look for switch hitters. Welcome to MLB: The Switch Hitters
Zobrist and Reyes will be the rare insert and collection rewards if they are included
