@SDS_JoeK_PSN sorry to ask again but will there be any update to remove or provide an option to turn off the jarring front view home run camera cut? The previous thread was locked and there have been no updates and several patches since.

I really hope you consider removing it as it ruins the home run moment! Please let us see the ball!

Thanks for the feedback here, folks. I've noted it and will share it with the team.

I liked to see the ball fly on a no doubter . I like to see the skyline as the ball flies through the air . From behind the batter.

I’d just love it if we had the same HR broadcast cam like they have in HR derby. That’d be perfect.

Any chance this makes it in the next patch?

Unfortunately, when "it's been noted" it's just placation. One can hope, but I wouldn't hold your breath

@Sarge1387_PSN most stuff go into the next game. When you watch the pre-release/hype streams, they address many hot-buttons topics.

@Sarge1387_PSN you are probably right:( its unfortunate as there are several people here and on Reddit who really don’t like the camera decision for this since launch. All we ask is for an option to turn it off at the very least… would suck if they really just dismiss the feedback https://www.reddit.com/r/MLBTheShow/comments/1jeymtq/new_no_doubter_cam/

I'm more referring to borderline stuff. Most gamebreaking/cracking things they do address you're absolutely right.

@Sarge1387_PSN - full transparency, it's not that I'm trying to "placate" as much as not wanting to make promises or hint at anything that may or may not happen (for whatever reason). After all, I don't do anyone (most importantly you guys) any favors by doing that.

Comments like that from me aren't intended to be a "blow-off", just an honest acknowledgement of the request and that I'll do what I can to make the team aware that it's something the community would like to see. 🙂

That's pretty much the extent of my power around here, heh.

I don’t see an issue with it. It doesn’t come up that often. The old school one comes up just as much for me as that one. Maybe the balance is different in franchise than the other modes.
