Even though everyone hates Mike Schmidt, he's one of the greatest hitters of all-time - not having in the game is kind of sad. They can also just revise his swing if everyone hates it.

MLB The Show isn't aggressive at innovating anymore for anything other than DD, and even that isn't amazing. Look at what 2K is doing in franchise mode with its MyNBA Eras. Just imagine that in MLB The Show. 2k was able to get the rights and likenesses to all of those players from different times but MLB The Show still only has about 200. They can't even add draft rosters like Madden or 2K (not sure if NHL does it). These things would be so cool but yet it'll never happen because SDS' only focus is really RTTS (which they finally revamped) and DD.

Bring Back Mo. How does the literal only authentic MLB game out there right now not have the greatest closer of all-time in their game? I don't care what the circumstances are, he needs to be in the game. Unless I get some memo that he literally refuses to be in the game, I'll be satisfied. Or at least tell us the legends that will not be in the game any longer and give us a reason. There is no other game out there and brings in new legends but takes some out to make room for the new ones. It's freaking stupid.

The circumstances are he was involved in some awful [censored] and unless he somehow gets exonerated, which doesn't seem likely, they are distancing themselves from him.
For good reason.
