The hunt for 64 Tanner Scott

…It is a slight, minor loss for those who got Alvarado and did not do his PXP mission yet. Because that is one less easy mission we can do because when they replaced the card they also replaced the mission.
So now we can't get Scott to do his mission and we can't do the Alverado mission because it no longer exists. It's only 5 points but it was an easy 5 points to earn.
Ah, ok, I did not see that they took away the Alvarado mission … That is a loss indeed. Sorry for my misunderstanding (also to @Mast1178_XBL I did not read your reply well enough)

If you have Alvarado and completed his PXP Mission - You're Fine
If you did not get Alvarado, you will receive Scott and be able to do his PXP Mission - You'll be Fine
If you have Alvarado and did not complete his PXP Mission - Submit a Ticket to SDS and they'll swap the card for you and you'll be fine. -
@Mast1178_XBL They gave you multiple different ways to complete this program without needing to do that though.

If anyone has any trouble here and needs to get Alvarado switched out for Scott, just reach out to support via https://theshow.com/support
I'm talking with the team about how we might be able to better communicate these changes in the future to avoid confusion.

So, what is stopping me from collecting Alvarado and then submitting a ticket saying I’d prefer Scott, only to then also collect Scott? How is that not abusable to get an extra card for the collection for free?

The rejection since you don't qualify in this scenario will stop you.
-
Because you can't own both of them. If you earned Alvarado, let's say, and would rather have Scott, Support can swap them out for you, thus, you'd no longer have Alvarado.
-
But once you’ve collected Alvarado, you’ll be at 1/41 collected and traditionally he’d still count as collected once he’s removed from the inventory and Scott is added, who you can then collect to get to 2/41.
We literally did this exact thing all of last year, by design, with the cornerstone cards in each season’s collection. Removing a card from inventory doesn’t drop the collection back down to 0/41. Once it’s collected, it’s collected and you stay at 1/41.
To be clear, in 24, we all collected all 3 cornerstone captains in each season’s collection despite only owning 1 of the 3 at any time.

Support can see what cards you have locked in abd whether or not you completed the Alvarado mission.
If you completed it and have Alvarado locked in; chances are they won't swap him out.

Both of you are just blindly making up what SDS will do when they haven’t said any such thing in reply to me directing a question specifically to SDS. Why are you replying? You can let SDS do their jobs themselves. Legitimately, please seek therapy. Both of you.
-
@RealPudgyPanda_MLBTS Feel free to read what is written before you pose a question.
JoeK said "This is correct" When another poster explained the scenario.
"If you have Alvarado and completed his PXP Mission - You're Fine THIS IS YOU IN THE SCENARIO. THEY WILL SEE YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE MISSIONS AND HAVE ALVARADO AND REJECT YOUR REQUEST TO GET TANNER.
If you did not get Alvarado, you will receive Scott and be able to do his PXP Mission - You'll be Fine THIS WOULD BE YOU IF YOU DIDN'T HAVE ALVARADO.
If you have Alvarado and did not complete his PXP Mission - Submit a Ticket to SDS and they'll swap the card for you and you'll be fine." THEY WOULD SWAP (THIS MEANS TAKE AWAY YOUR ALVARADO AND GIVE YOU TANNER)....and you'll be fine... -
Finishing a PXP mission has nothing to do with collecting the card in the collections. Please stop replying like you work for SDS. You don’t. I haven’t asked you a single question. You don’t work for SDS. Please, again, seek therapy. You desperately need to talk to a mental health professional.

You posed a question, a brilliant one mind you, in an open forum. It is not my fault that your reading and comprehension is not up to par. If you want this to be between you and an SDS employee they have other ways to communicate.

Ok, I confirmed with the team that you can indeed collect both cards. So good news if you're chasing Buxton.
Apologies for the confusion on that part.

How?

Why must the change this? He cheated. He didn’t kill someone
-
Furthermore, if we are gonna play the moral compass game. Take out anyone who has ever used Roids or performance enhancing drugs. Manny, Clemens, Pettitte, Giambi, Pudge, Rafael Palmiero etc.
Then take out all the players who have been caught in a domestic abuse scandal- Ozuna, Aroldis Champman etc.
Or…just leave it how it is and not complicate everything. He got punished by the league. We don’t need the Show to be the Morality Police.

Great news. How can we do this?
-
I sent in a ticket for the swap but haven't received any response
-
@sbchamps17_NSW -- They're seeing an influx of tickets, as you can imagine. Sit tight and I'm sure you'll hear back ASAP.
