Retro Lightning Carlos Santana

Let me start off by saying this card looks really good. I think pretty much everyone loves Santana cards. Switch hitter,great swing,great power and contact. With that being said. Who is actually going to collect this card? You need every single card except one. Some of the cards are nearly 100k. That’s absurd. I’d love to use the card but I would have to use all my stubs I’ve been saving for the live series collection just for this card. It doesn’t make sense to me.
What your thoughts?

Awesome card for this collection … hard to come by (imo like it should be) … I will stick with Simmons and work on Rolen instead

@YOSHI24_XBL no i'm sorry my man...a 92 shouldnt be that hard or expensive to get. Rolen, Beltran, Clemans, and Hodges should be.

There’s a difference between something being hard to get and having to collect all the rare round cards in packs for purchase.

@YOSHI24_XBL I don’t mind a little bit of a grind for cards but you do realize the 3rd Inning starts on Friday,right? I’m pretty sure all the cards from that point on will be 92 and higher. So to have to save pretty much 500k or more for one card that will probably be irrelevant in a month is hard to justify for me. Especially when people are already struggling to finish the other collections.

Beltran is 2.6M, Rolen is 2.3M, Santana is cheaper …

Guys, it's just 1 card, I promise you can still play and enjoy the game without it...

2 of those cards will be useful throughout the year. The other one….probably not.

@MRAD2010_XBL Guys … Again … you do not need every card in the game and you cannot expect to have any card given to you that easily.
I also do not neither Rolen nor will I get Santana … but is no news that this collection was coming and it is no news that it requires the rare rounds.
It was pretty obvious that it would be an expensive retro lightning card … and hard to get (and I stick to „as it should be, it is an awesome card … because it will be relevant for more than 2-3 weeks (at least)“)
My advice to people: Go for LS first, it is way more valuable… -

@YOSHI24_XBL and you do realize that the retro lighting cards use to be part of the grind of the game,right? This isn’t the first retro lighting card. Just the first one to cost half a million dollars for a 92.

@YOSHI24_XBL ok. Then let’s just justify everyone buying stubs too because most people aren’t going to be able to make enough stubs to get any of the collections at this point.
