Just looked ats what needed an all the collections were increased and pretty significantly so I am awaiting the complaints coming in on how hard it will be to do

I underestimated how many cards I needed today. They make it pretty hard to get this year. Diamonds odds have been terrible for me and the profit margins for flipping have been pretty tight to say the least.

He's shown as a 97 on their news page, but 99 on twitter. I assume he's a 99, but I don't care I guess

I guess I should be HAPPY they made the large collection reward undesirable. Because now I can just complete the collection naturally and slowly.
That's a hard thing for me to do, but it's absurd how much they are asking for a subpar player (based on my experience so far with the Rolen Moments).

bottomline, its about us the players buying stubs. nothing more. They have flooded the market with low level cards that players usually flip for stubs. They make the higher diamonds almost unattainable without spending weeks saving stubs from low level cards. SDS manipulates the market. If you want the card now, you'll have to buy stubs. You can wait and get him later and save money. Its a joke and has become more and more undesirable. They'll have a flash sale for us to spend more stubs, or buy stubs for chances at cards we need. They do it during the day when most of us are at work. I'm not going to NOT play anymore. I'm not spending a dime. I'll just enjoy what i have.

Yeah it’s either take your approach or just stepping away for a while. At this point I really am feeling apathetic and wanting to just walk away. I love baseball but the game is not very rewarding or fun considering the time/stub commitment being asked.

The market doesn't bother me as much as others cause it's always tight at the beginning, it is starting to get to me though, what is getting to me is,can't listen to those same stories over and over again so I turned off the announcers,and because of the crowd with all the "OH NO" ,"CMON", "YOUVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME" I have had to turn down the crowd noise so low you can barely hear it, the quiet stadium is very unenjoyable to play in so I also am getting to the point where this might get shelved, shame cause I am really liking the game so far.

@PAinPA_PSN I hear you. I've loved playing the show for the past 15 years. Never putting more than purchase price into the game. This year it feels completely different. With games like Oblivion, Borderlands 4, and then GTA6, it might be a short year for me. Not going away forever just getting some breathing room. Plus 3 boys all in baseball, so i'll be all over the place with that and work .

@Dolenz_PSN Love Ichiro and Rolen, not sure why he got a Reds card before Cardinals. I can understand Phillies.
He went into the hall as a Cardinal if I'm not mistaken, so he needs a 99, and yeah like you said likely end of year if anything

@yankblan_PSN Still a lot of stubs going to those collections rather than the live series collection which would not be very smart.

This year is the least amount of time I've spent playing DD since I started to play in '20.

Honestly, It does not matter if he is a Phillies card or a Cardinals card as it is a collection I will never get done so I would not get him either way. But yeah, they made him a Phillie because they wanted to and it is not based on his best season or which team he represents in the HOF.
And yes, his plaque in the HOF has a Cardinals Cap.

Makes sense. I started in 2020 and loved it and 2021. 2022 was a slight drop but still a lot of fun. 23 and 24 there was a major shift with sets and seasons and increased monetization. This year has continued the slide for me in that the game is just not rewarding with crappy stub and xp rewards and an obscene cost on numerous cards. The game has squeezed out those just looking to chill and have fun. It’s catered to whales, people that live on the game 24/7, and the elite players.
I tried to get my son into the game last year because he loves baseball and he already has about zero interest because it’s just not fun to pick up and play. Upgrading to the top cards takes an obscene amount of time, stubs, or elite skill. It’s really disappointing but such is life. Roll with it and move on. Life is too short to dwell on and get upset with a silly video game that means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things.
