Your progress in the "First Inning" in 2025

- Finished 1st Inning program. 6 spins, one premium pipeline pack, one 5 bundle the rest were headliners, with on decent pull (LS Sale). I have pulled Skenes, Henderson and Elly but nothing bigger.
- Team Affinity- Missing 3 (Marlins, Royals and Angels) Need wins for each team. The SB missions were my favorite.
- LS- NL Central Complete, Need Harper and the NL East is finished. Need the big names Ohtani, Judge, Trout, Witt, Marte, Betts and a couple mids (Alvarez and Skubel). Always struggle at this point to save for the top dog and get him first or grab the cheaper ones and work up? My favorite LS players have been Soto, J Ram and Elly.
- Completed Pipeline a couple days ago, pulled Shultz and Bazzana on the same DQ run, figured it was a sign from God, and decided to keep them this time. Been selling all my new threads cards to get stubs for LS. I figure eventually those new threads cards prices will end up in the toilet like pipeline and Ill do the set then.
- Ive played 3 multiplayer games, realized that the multiplayer grind is not worth it for me. Back to offline.

New to MLB The Show this year and really got into Diamond Dynasty — finished the 1st Inning Program, picked up Manny and McGwire, and had a couple spins on the wheel.
Quick question: is the Boss Collection actually worth it later in the season? I’ve got about 35k stubs and I’m torn between grabbing Beltre or knocking out a bunch of the lower-tier Live Series cards.

@GordanBombay66_XBL its only really worth it for the head start on inning 2. More than likely you'll be able to get the final card in the final inning at the end of the year, as they always (usually) do rewind stuff for cards that you may have missed.

Finished the first inning program. Have a hit about 4 wheels spins (i've lost count). All offline programs done. Need to complete 7 live series teams (Braves, Phils, Mets, Pirates, Dodgers, Padres, DBacks). Other collections complete save for Spring Breakout (need to do the 4 showdowns) and New Threads (sitting at 24 of 28). Need 6 TA (Braves, Mets, Dodgers, Padres, DBacks, Brewers) to have all the captains but havent advanced more than that. I just started multiplayer on Monday and have made it to Mark Davis, but am hoping to get to Bautista by cut off tomorrow. All in all I enjoyed he first inning, looking forward to the second.

1.) Finished the XP path, currently at about 1.1 million, and had some nice hits on the wheel so far. Got two diamond spins yesterday.
2.) Team affinity just about done. I have 2 teams left that I am just casually finishing up as I have time.
3.) LS Collection not done yet. I have about 12 teams left to finish and just missing most of the big gatekeepers for those 12. I have been extremely lucky with some diamond pulls though that have helped a lot. Pulled Judge early, Yordan twice (sold one obviously), Skenes, Mookie, Tatis, and maybe a couple others I am forgetting. I still need most of the big dogs though.
4.) All other collections are done with the exception of New Threads. I'm hoping more of those packs show up for free in the 2nd Inning programs and can complete those a little easier.
Overall the 1st Inning was really fun. I'm enjoying the game so far this year and looking forward to Inning 2.

DQ new threads. Takes me about 50-60 mins to get (usually) the 4 cards which you can sell obviously.

I feel like my progress is solid so far.
Have "spun" the wheel 19 time with 10 Silver and 9 Gold results.Decent Progress on all TAs and finished up my last stolen base TA mission today. So I can quit with all the pinch running finally!!!
Live series I have 9 diamonds left to collect but all but two of them are pretty spendy so I'll just keep plugging away at making stubs until I get lucky or have enough stubs to finish it off.
And I have have 21 P5 cards so far.

@VENOM1120_PSN Christ. I didn't realize you have to do the Showdown 4x. I figured you got all four cards for one successful run. Forget that. I can live without those four cards. I hate showdown with a pretty big passion.

Completed 1st inning, 2 wheel spins (2nd spin was a chase pack, pulled 87 Hank Aaron);
Got the minimum 15 jolts for the voucher;
6 LS collections left, all gatekeepers;
Completed all programs except Spring breakout;
Completed all player evolutions:
Completed Spotlight programCompleted mini season for Sabathia;
Pulled Ohtani 1st weekend and sold(probably should’ve held on to him); -
1st inning completed. 2 wheel spins 2 golds
All the AL and Over Half the NL Jolt Cards
All the live series minus the 30k plus diamonds (I do have Judge)
Every program done minus two finishing up this weekend. -
Yeah, I’ll chime in. I’m about 6k XP short of the first boss pack. I’ll admit I haven’t played as much so far, mainly because hitting has been so “unrewarding”.
I also think the pipeline program and the “mandatory” showdown (which I failed to get past the 2nd pitcher twice) also diminished my interest. I spent too much time trying to finish it and I just got Salas.
All other theme programs are finished though.
SDS must do something about hitting.
I’ll also add that flipping is nigh impossible right now. That also diminishes my fun with the game.

I've got most the Jolt cards, hit the xp wheel around 5 times, 6 gateway cards from finishing LS, pipeline and new threads done with like 10 stubbs left. Really enjoyed playing around with all the cards so far.

Gonna end up just shy of the final boss, I'm afraid. Couldn't hit the double xp as hard as I thought I could this week...all kinds of meeting with lawyers and realtors closing the purchase of our new house...time just got away from me. D@mnit.

I just couldn't quite get my 500 PXP for Johnny Bench before I had to go to bed at 3am last night since I work today. Did get in that laaaast wheel spin though. You guessed it, headliner pack with a silver lol. But Was able to make a ton of progress on TA for most teams, as of now Royals and Angels are my lowest at 65K and Cardinals are my highest at 130K, most other teams fall in that 85-105 range.

Started late. Like Last Week Late. Only 24K in stubs. Haven't hit Arrieta. Doubt I'll get any of the bosses. Still have to finish all programs except Starter. Have 2-3 teams collected in LS. Only 2 Golds in TA.
Could've been further but wasting time doing Moments and having two Spring Breakout Showdowns freeze on me during Dolander has really diminished my want to play.
Just want to update this. DONT KNOCK THE MULTIPLAYER PROGRAM.
From the date that I made my original post, just by playing the Event and BR, I made it all the way to the 2nd Boss pack. Completed the New Threads and Pipeline Programs (by buying lower rated players and collecting them), collected 2 more LS teams, and still had 50K in stubs.
Since Inning 2 has started, I've also played nothing but Events and BR, and I'm two rewards past the 2nd Cornerstone player.
And I still have ALL the Conquest maps left. Haven't touched DQ and haven't touched MS.
