If the missions don’t change, you don’t actually have to play bad on purpose — I did it mostly by playing the new conquest map with an all-common squad and getting the repeatable 500 PXP mission (along with the 3 player PXP missions). But not everyone would enjoy playing with commons (and of course, some people may have trouble winning with them).
I'll see how it goes.
All I know is that unless try to go the 1000 PXP repeatable route, which will probably require me to play with a common squad far more than I would like, I will need to.
- Strike out roughly 35 or 40 times. 15 with Cubs, 15 with Cardinals (There goes my stats on some of my Cardinals), then a few more for CFs. Not hard but time consuming and tedious.
- Load my infield with 2B and purposely mess up any throws to get the errors. Probably pretty quick.
- Give up runs - Simply intentional walk everyone. Tedious but it should not take long.
- Caught Steeling with A's - More annoying. I have to play with the A's. Get them on base and pray that they get caught stealing.
Which begs the question, what is the rule on quitting out of CPU games? How much do I need to play for these stat missions to count?
Honestly since you play with a Cardinals theme team I wouldnt worry about the Cardinals Ks, you will get them eventually.
Just put an A or 2 on your bench as a pinch runner.
Once you get Vida Blue just use him as your conquest pitcher and youll get the 500 repeatable every 2 games

@GixxerRyder750_PSN just throw the ball in the stands

@SaveFarris_PSN Joe Morgan played 10 seasons in Houston. 8 in Cincy. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk
Morgan put up nearly 2X WAR while in Porkopolis. Not even people who live in Houston think of Morgan as an Astro.
-
If a player was an all star for 2 teams he should be expected to get cards for both teams each year (SDS drops the ball with this sometimes)
Morgan will get a high 90s Reds card

Do we really need 1000 stars to complete this?

You get like 950 stars for completing the collection and getting the diamonds. SO yes...you really do need 1000 stars but no, you dont need to do anything other than earn and collect the commons.

Ok, thanks. I got Stan yesterday but just got home and see the update.
-
@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN yes I did exactly the same. It not hard if you just think about how to do it.

Easier to throw it to the wrong base, they give an error for that
-
@SaveFarris_PSN That's only because he played there in the 60s. I don't think of Morgan as a player at all but as being annoying asf announcing next to the great Jon Miller. Because that was my era...may shock you but there aren't a lot of people who were adults in the 60s still around to talk about Joe Morgan.

Okay, I got these done but as I expected I did not really enjoy getting them done. 12 innings worth of strikeouts is what took the longest since I kept swapping lineups (Cubs, then Cardinals, then CF for the remainder of those).
For 2B errors I put a 2B at catcher. Blue would throw nasty curves in the dirt when he had 2 strikes, if the batter swung the ball squirted away from the catcher and then he would often airmail his throws to the outfield. That way Blue got the PXP for the strikeout and I tallied an error with a 2B
