I cannot access my Pre Order Edition.

Actually, it was midnight EST, 11pm CST and 9pm PST.
But they were all wrong, apparently.

@StinkyMcPooter_XBL Ah I see, on the Microsoft store it showed 10pm for me but I’m now realizing my console is set to west coast time. So like someone else in the forum said, it’s been pushed to 1am est / 10pm pst

Saw a screenshot of the MS store that said it releases at 1:00 am eastern which is about 25 minutes from now. Somebody screwed up when setting up the times for the MS store
I don't remember what year it was but I remember when it was still PS only, maybe at the launch of the ps3 and the game did not unlock until many, many hours past it scheduled time. I remember watching Nick Livingston (dev at the time) streaming the game while trying to keep us updated.

It is @SDS_JoeK_PSN Thank you. After the initial set-up, the Standard Xbox edition linked perfectly to my PS Deluxe edition.

Are you able to tell us why we had to wait an extra hour to play? It sure seemed intentional that Microsoft was advertising 1am but the show was saying midnight.

In all honesty, I have no idea. The 1st party shops aren't my department. Just glad we were able to finally get Xbox folks through the gates.
