If College is a Thing in MLB25...

Then you know what we need, right?
More Uniform Cards!
That means this:
This:
This:
This:
And never, ever, EVER this:
-
Go Frogs!
-
The Vegas one is cool!

I am confident due to the licensing requirements with the NCAA, that the "college" mode will feature contrived teams, vice use actual college themes. Yes, it would be very cool if I'm wrong on this, but ultimately the licensing costs would be astronomical. Imagine the licensing cost of the NCAA Football video game combined with the licensing cost of MLB The Show!
It just seems like too high a sunk cost for any video game company to pay.

That's a good point, but I believe the NIL agreements cover this. EA does it with Madden and College (or they did at one point where if you had both games, you could draft your college guys from your NCAA file to your Madden file)

https://youtu.be/oz9r1nrjwFU?si=m8ttNO0yEUkKa8rHTriple Play '98 was the greatest ever. Even MVP 2005, imo.
I never played NCAA, but it got rave reviews.
All the more as to why I beg EA to make Baseball again! -
Sadly, even though 1998 wasn't that long ago, at least for me, things have changed a lot in college sports in the last 26 years and in my opinion not for the better.
Today's it's all big business with the players turning pro in colleges. Everyone wants maximum revenues now. In many ways its more mercenarial in college athletics -- at least in the revenue generating sports like football, basketball and baseball -- than in the actual professional leagues.
At least the pro leagues have draft orders based on inverse order of last season's finish. There are roster limits, and many have salary caps. In college sports, no such stuff. Everyone wants a cut now, and a big one!

If College is incorporated into RTTS; I want to see keg parties, Frisbee, and streaking through the Quad.
