It feels silly to even release these cards now, after the regular season and postseason ended a while ago. It feels as though this game needs an executive producer to oversee its multiple departments. Something is definitely amiss this year. The overall direction and structure of this game have not felt right since the initial trailers this year.

I understand having other issues with the game this year, but pretty sure Finest cards have always come out in November.

I hope there is a quirked out Finest Trout. I suck with his previous release.

But November 22nd is practically Thanksgiving. I don't know this for a fact, but if the other Finest drops have been closer to November 1st, that is a huge difference and I agree with the OP.

And now, judging by the fact that they're holding back almost all of the best Finest cards, who knows how much longer we'll have to wait for them.

Releasing finest cards now makes total sense when MLB announces their awards at this time too. Yes the finest series was released early November last year, but I dont see a problem releasing them now.

I started out bad with him myself. Single after single!
It always sucks, though to get these Finest this late, plus the real season is over, which is a big deal to me. The motivation just isn't there, despite the great teams we all have at this point.
That said, I'm still grateful for MLB '24, despite all the hiccups.

Last year, the Goldschmidt and Arenado Finestcards were released at Christmas.

Personally, the long gap between WS content and Finest have sort of turned me off from '24. I suppose they don't care about retaining engagement this late in the cycle though.

Thanks for this. Proving that yes, Finest always drops in November, but this year is by far the latest.

I guess it is kind of a double-edged sword. Finest is usually the last substantial content drop of the game cycle. If they release it as soon as the calendar turns to November we get it sooner of course, but then the gap between that and the new game coming out is even longer.

I don't mind it coming out later this year to help bridge the gap considering the wasteland that is December-March/April for The Show.
