Alex Gordon & Reid Garrett

How was he attained?
A little research shows that he was a past Battle Royale reward so there is currently no other way to get him except from the market, allowing those who have him to be able to jack up the prices.
Just because they are asking those prices does not mean that they will get it. The highest bid to buy him is at 375K

Greedy corporations swoop in
Stupid Private Equity ruining the MLBTS markets. I blame Goldman Sachs.

I’m hoping they have a plan for something like run it back programs for the previous seasons after season 3 ends, not having ways to earn old cards is frustrating if you haven’t played every day since the start
-
I just made about 400k selling leftover season 2 cards I had that I have no use for. And that was just selling now. Wish I would've thought to do the same for Season 1 and not collected all 401 cards I had. Just stopped at the pack rewards and sat on the rest.
-
@SchnauzerFace_MLBTS lol black rock bought them all
-
SDS needs to make the Alex Gordon and Felix Bautista card free because of this Ridiculous Price Gouging! I have every card in the game and I will never pay 100k for either of those two trash can cards
-
@NOWLTZKI_MLBTS I am into the game since 21 and there always have been cards that were rarer than others. Most of the time it were the BR rewards, so this is nothing new tbh … BUT: Last year they had a like “forever BR” come January where you they had all the rewards in the reward path again … Maybe they do that again this year … I learned my lesson so I buy all the BR rewards while supply lasts
-
I've heard that Alex Gordon is actually buying up his own cards to raise the cost.
-
Well Alex Gordon can have all his cards cause his card is trash
-
Rewind packs in BR would solve this.

But then where is the incentive for those of us who did the grind to earn him the hard way if you can just buy him for a fraction of the price? Some cards will be more $$ and should be more, to reflect how easy or hard they are to attain. Otherwise what’s the point in making them a reward?

You get them first when they are most relevant.
BR cards arent hard to obtain, its just tedious.

Why do you need an incentive? I will never understand this mindset that some people should have virtual toys that other people shouldn't have. It's a video game. The one thing that all of us has in common is that this is the least important thing in our entire lives.

The incentive is that if you're good enough to go Flawless; you can sell them for alot of stubs.
If you're not good enough to go Flawless and obtain them by completing the program, which some people find tedious or don't play online, then you get to use that card longer than someone who waited to buy them when they were cheaper on the market.
