Thoughts on a WWE/MLB crossover?
-
You saw the reaction to MLB players playing out of position. Imagine the reaction to Macho Man Randy Savage pinch hitting and snapping into a slim jim for a walk off.

I mean .......you make a great argument to have this merge.

He also played OF/C before an injury took him out

@MatrixTN_PSN
Ok BUT he actually played so technically regardless of his wrestling career you could argue for him being a legend though I don't think he had outstanding stats to be considered legend status.
Regardless, fair point -
@chekmate_13_PSN I do enjoy both, and also they've had some superstars throw out first pitches, and maybe even a few did play in high school or college. Though trust me, some things in SuperCard have been way more out of left field than my idea of curiosity.

MLB does not need to associate itself with an entertainment industry that engages in fixed contractual outcomes that are staged events intended to mimic athletic contests. There have been some former professional baseball players who became wrestlers, there are not enough of them to lend any credible program in that regard either.
Beyond treating individual WWE celebrities like MLB would any noteworthy celebrity, there really isn't any benefit to MLB for doing anything else.

Cosmic baseball? Looks cool at least, if you haven't seen it check it out

Why stop at WWE, why not do a crossover with Marvel and have superhero ball cards.
-
The card could be a regular player but the theme could be WWE, marvel etc. I wouldn't mind that . Like the kaiju cards. Any excuse to give me new cards , I'll take it . But the player should be a real player.

@bpwildbill11_PSN that’s cool, I mean I’d be more interested in a baseball movie character program myself, but neither are probably realistic. Kudos for thinking outside the box.

@PriorFir4383355_XBL let’s not be too hasty here, Manfred’s in charge and we got all the oatmilk we can drink in the minors.
It’s a bit topical this week; but the MLB has no room for sports gambling…
Also new users to fanduel get 50 fanbucks with the code “Bet on Baseball”!

@chekmate_13_PSN You forgot Draft Kings!

@chekmate_13_PSN Thanks man. And I'd be interested to see what SuperCard would do if given the chance for a crossover with MLB, because the past few events that last for weeks, have been pretty enjoyable. Especially with them going to their own xp system (which you only max on xp when you reach the very top level), and just being easier to upgrade nowadays, it'd be interesting if they'd do the crossover around either the All Star Break, or at the beginning of the playoffs.
