@iBonafideScrub__PSN I think this is true. They hype up supercharges on twitter as much or more than any of the lackluster programs.
They can fool the easily impressed, but good call. They might think we might get distracted by the bright green Supercharge graphics, but we see you, SDS
Supercharge the Show back to respectability. -

@Dolenz64_XBL it’s actually the opposite of understandable… the backlash this game is getting and with NCAA coming out, they absolutely should not wait that long to drop new content.
Nothing they do is going to prevent those who are wanting to check out NCAA from checking out NCAA.
Those who are not interested in NCAA will not all of a sudden become interested simply because they had to wait 9 days instead of 7 between drops.
Every year those of us who stick with the game see the same thing. "This game will die when Madden comes out". "This game will die when NBA comes out". Now there is just a new game to add to that yearly list.
I hope NCAA is everything people are wanting in a football game and that they play it to their hearts content. Either way I will be happy when it's release date has come and gone so that the disgruntled can stop using it as some upcoming boogeyman.
I agree, for the masses for sure, but me personally it is actually on my mind. I have never left the Show for Madden. But before the Show, NCAA was easily my favorite game. And I will no doubt buy it, the question for me is when. Right now I spend way more time on Franchise than DD, because there just isn't enough for me to do vs CPU. The way it's been, not sure it won't be an easy leave, outside of FOMO on S3 and S4 Reds cards.

There is nothing on the calendar until the 12th. Nine days with no content? In the middle of the baseball season?
I am under the impression that they believe that supercharging cards is content.
cards arent even content. Content is the stuff you use the cards in. Cards can make content not stale.
The funny thing is the one thing that could be considered a decent amount of content is the new ranked season, but this is the time the staggering of goals really works against them. Why play before all the goals are released? And they can [censored] off with the 100 runs again. 250 TB is better than 200 hits but still higher than it needs to be.

I think we might get a new Ian Happ content supercharged card perhaps. 2 HRs, 6 Rbis so far today.
Christian Walker have destroyed the dodgers this series, today he has two homeruns.

One of the streamers stated the sane thing. And that's coming from an online player.
Why would I, who is an offline player, want to play now and get 'handcuffed' at 75 pts, when I can wait until Part 2 and get double the progress. Especially when I'm getting a Non-sellable card.
Or dl what I did with the last program. Bought both Rivera and Big Mac for 20K each.

This is probably my most egregious p1ss off...I might be mis-remembering...but I swear you used to be able to sell rewards from the main reward path. Some of the cards are merely collection fodder which is alright...but what if I'd rather have the stubs? The gradual shift towards more monetization is super deflating

They won't be supercharging anyone until Monday

Major league ball drop by SDS not doing double XP on the long weekend. Talk about being out of touch…
-
it's clear this year whoever is running DD has non clue what they're doing.

Good chance Sony just doesnt care. My guess is its more profitable than last year even with the drop of player happiness simply because they brough back power creep.

SDS knew college football was releasing this year, but yet they put out possibly the worst game since 18. I’ve played every game since the show released, and now I will be leaving this dumpster fire to enjoy a game that we’ve waited for in college football. Now try to defend this game, you can’t. The chase pack is one of the worst cards I’ve ever seen. You can use lindor’s LS card with the castilla boost and get the same card. It’s a shame this studio has ruined the only baseball franchise we have to play.

And Madden releases every year. SDS knows the impact other sports games have and how people are going to leave regardless of what they do. They should give zero !@#$s about NCAA and worry about keeping the people happy that plan to stay, which they have been doing a rather poor job of
-
SDS doesn't care about College Football or Madden as they will make their money at release when no other games really come out in the March/April time frame.

I agree with you. I have no problem playing two, overwhelmingly time intensive, games like NCAA and MLBTS. Like you, I've also stopped playing MLBTS as much as years past. I think it's just OP's way of letting out his frustrations that the game doesn't have the longevity it should. Shoot, even RTTS and MTO feel more stale than previous years.
I think the last year I had was NCAA 2012. That was before ultimate team came out. I'd play Dynasty for hours. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm sure I'll spend more time on there than here. I will, however, still play MLBTS. Heck, the lack of content will make it easier. Just to entice you, they will probably have more Mizzou cards than the Show has Cardinal cards. Go Tigers?
