Truth About the XP Cap

Last year the economy got screwed up because guys abused the wheel to generate a ton of stubs.
How? If they earned it, it’s not abuse.

@tear4eddy You also said „losers“. People who can play more are not losers in the first place.
But back to topic. It is both „getting them too early“ and „being able to spin the wheel“ earlier. The first is against the power creep, the second puts in more stubs and drives up prices.
But … maybe they will put in a higher cap (or no?) and/or more double-xp-weekends. They should have some feedback about this from the surveys -
@go4stros25 Luved MVP 2005. On my wishlist for MLB would be to add the batting practice arcade where you can hit still and moving targets; maybe have stub, xp and pack rewards for hitting certain targets. That was fun.

I'm not sure where you're being an apologist. I work full time etc and manage a couple hours a day, or every other day at worst and I'm only at 320k or something, give or take 10k. It made me really sad to realize that unless things change drastically, I won't be getting a single look at ANY of the bosses during the seasons. All they did was SLIGHTLY slow down and inconvenience the hardcore grinders, while making it next to impossible for a good portion of the player base. I'm all for the grind, but I wanna feel like I'm accomplishing something for it, and right now 24 just doesn't provide that, it just feels pointless.

tecmo super bowl also stopped by to say hello

@Sarge1387
Amen. The reward for the grind is almost nonexistent this year.

As long as the bosses and XP cards remain untradeable, I don’t think it matters if people get there early, the problem was people would glitch and sell the bosses for a high profit, but if some gets these players earlier, it’s not like the profit off it, they just get to use them before everyone else.

@Jcassaro44
Which is exactly why I don't understand SDS's logic, or lack thereof, with what they've done this year.

I play a few hours every day and have completed every Division of every Chapter of TA. However, I am still about 80k away from my first Boss card. If I obtain a Boss card, it will be expired soon after.
They promoted "Seasons" last year as a way for us to have "99's Day 1". Now that the power creep is back, there is no logical reason to have Seasons. Seasons is a format designed for a sprint, not a power creep. Their previous "Innings" format, however, naturally supported a power creep.
Hopefully next year, they better support the power creep by going back to "Innings". I am sure they can still find creative ways to increase revenue without having expiring cards. That content design was lame in '14, and still is.

I very strongly doubt that expiring cards increases revenue. Power creep does though. But you can bet there will be less sales of tomorrow's pack than there would have been if season wasn't ending

Honestly I doubt that. The reason they keep pushing all these packs is cuz you got people out there who are buying them every single week, I don't see tomorrow being any different tbh
