top 5 ta ch 3 players
-
who would you guys say are the top 5 players to choose from ta ch 3?
-
AL East - Brian Roberts, 5 tool player
AL Central - Cliff Lee, Lefty with pitch mix
AL West - Edgar Martinez, Insane hitting
NL East - Tom Glavine, Lefty with pitch mix
NL Central - Willie Stargell, Insane hitting
NL West - Eduardo Escobar, Switch hitter -
@cosmic_wonders i agree with this mostly but I would say the best player in the NL west is Sandy after using both of them. Also Whit Merrifield is right up there with Cliff Lee. He’s been really good for me so far. Tbh the AL east has 5 of the top 10. Everyone in that division is really good.

@wkward83
I will go with Cosmics list except replace Stargell for the great Eric Davis (Stargell is my second choice though). I am biased, but not only is Davis a speed demon with lights out D, his contact and power vs LHP's is extremely valuable considering the amount of quality LHP's that you face. I also have Sheffield right there with Escobar in NL West (Sheff at DH and Escobar at 3rd). -
Kerry Wood is dirty. Tom Henkes Forkball is sick, looks like a fast ball and drops hard.

@TheGoaler Escobar and Roberts are probably the best two in the entire Team Affinty.
-
Top 3 for me will be B Miller, Escobar and Roberts.
-
Roberts has a great swing, switch hitter, speed. Escobar is a great hitter from both sides with position flexiblity. Miller with pop and plays every position. Wood imo is the best overall pitcher. Glavine is amazing in Ranked with pinpoint control, if you just play offline go with Alcantra. The second tier are great but they have like one hole in their game, like being slow, low vision, or no quirks. Davis, Renfroe, Schmidt, Edgar fit here. SOme of the other inf are good but Roberts, Escobar and Miller really lock up those positions. One thing is certain, I am saving AL Central for last. Nothing really appealing there.

I tried Eddy at 3 and he was diving at balls down the line like he was wearing ankle weights under water. matrix style.
