OMG - I'm an idiot. Forgot there were 4 cards in the RS program. One for reaching 500, one at 75 points, and two at WS level (or 100 points). Completely missed the diamond next to Posada. Ooofff. I'm old.

That said, there's a 99% chance I'm still taking Posada. Even as a Red Sox fan, born and raised.

Nope. Just a huge Gene Tenace fan! Nah... not really. Just Googled "Padres former players" and thought "Gene Tenace sounds fun". He was 1972 WS MVP though, but for the A's. So, to be accurate, it would have to be his 1977 card where he lead the league in walks with 125 and 13 HPB. You know... a LEGEND.

They've pulled that swerve a few times recently with guys who literally were out of the game for one year then get hyped up as a "NEW LEGEND."
CC isn't as bad though. He hasn't been in the game since he retired in 2019.

I was thinking maybe Kevin Brown. A big enough name to get some hype, but not big enough where it is justifiable to drop him mid-cycle?
