It’ll be interesting to see how many people can get to the bosses. in 3 years I’ve never had a problem getting there. This season I won’t come close. Part of that is on me, the game just isn’t much fun this year so I hardly play in comparison to the last several.

I have zero problems with the game this year, other people do but I don't. Maybe it's because I just started playing in September of 22 but I'm really enjoying the game and everything there is to do NMS

I prefer the model this year to last year the 99 explosion was overkill and the game got old real quick. We had 3 different 99s for at least a dozen or so players.
I think it was an over correction with the power creep this year. XP, cards and stubs are extremely hard to come by. Of course it’s still April so they could ramp it up. That is my big gripe. I don’t want anything handed to me but it would be nice to know I had a chance at the bosses.
Yeah, I definitely miss the innings format.

Nerfing the LS collection was a huge misstep. No division boss cards to unlock. AL and NL bosses 95's.
Don't forget that no division bosses means less xp and fewer stubs -- by a LOT.
This year's game is smarmy.

Yes, I am very curious as well. I have held back my real complaining until we get to the end. If I get all 3 if them, then cool I'm ok with it. If I only get one I will be disappointed, but I guess it is what it is since I'm leaving a lot of xp on the table by not playing online.
If I don't get any of them, I'm done with DD this year.

Exactly how im feeling right now. We're roughly halfway through the first season and im just under 500K in the reward path. So we have about 44 days left and if i maintain this pace, i SHOULD get to the 2nd boss, possibly 3rd if we get a double xp weekend. The problem is, do i want to? Do i even care right now?
I cant even bring myself to play other then when new content drops. Ill finish the conquest today and i wont play again til Friday. That content will probably take an a few hours and i wont feel like playing again til next weeks drop.

@Easy_Duhz_It_ I disagree with you quite often, but you're right on this. I have almost all the cards and around 1.6 million stubs now, however I don't want to play the game. I just don't give a [censored] about the program. It's way to long and 95% of the rewards are bad. Also is so dumb that you can max out your daily xp and not hit the next program reward.
I don't care about rollins anymore. I'll get him easily, but so what. I'm just not motivated to play this game.The player base will drop. Then it will go up slightly after seaosn 2 release, but then fall off a cliff again. Just like last year.

Does nobody just play video games for fun anymore? It always has to be for some reward or something? I've said it before but I am having fun just putting together a good team from all the free cards and playing some games without having to worry about falling behind in all the programs.

Congrats to you for playing a game for fun but for some of us, when a challenge to complete something i.e. a rewards path or program is presented, the fun for us is actually doing it. As far as rewards, you're using all those free cards that were rewards for completing certain aspects of the game....you chose to stop after that, the rest of us didnt.

I've already drastically reduced my playing because of the imbalance between the three online modes and the 3 offline modes (Showdown/Conquest/MiniSeasons) I believe its 42 cards from online modes, many sellable, to 10 no sell cards from offline with 8 of those coming from the USA map and only one card since launch. Its 180K exp to ~60K, with all but 2.5k of the offline mode exp coming from launch day.
Offline modes have been absolutely shafted since launch and it gives the impression SDS wants us to play online or not play at all.
While the conquest map giving a card is a step in the right direction, its ridiculous its no sell (not that I would personally sell it, but it should be available to online players and making it sellable does that). And there is a new mini season on Friday but I expect it to be 10K xp and 1 no sell card on the same day a 10K online mode with 2 sellable cards launches.

Oh yeah, actually that’s a good point. I have no interest in even attempting LS this year. In the Pat I have always finished it. This year it’s Babe and nothing else
