IMO: Best thing for users to do that had their accounts reset
-
@Justillien I'm usually a defender of SDS, but you're right ..this reset account thing is pretty much it for me. I preorder every year, get the MVP edition, etc etc. EA, as shitty as they are, they would have some form of communication with it's player base in MUT if everyone's account went belly up like this. DD is a live service model, yet they don't give us the "live" interaction that they should. And we all know what's going to happen, we'll get a "free" item that's worthless and nonsellable.
It's something every year now, this being the worst year.I love the pinned comment of (I'm paraphrasing here) "try to reset your account to get your stuff back, that might work." How about no SDS! Why should we have to do something to fix something that you guys screwed up on your end. You fix it!
What SDS should really do is take a year or 2 off to get their stuff right in this game like WWE 2k did. Seriously.

@Dolenz That is the problem. Patience is not something people have when they put time and money into something. Would you have patience if your bank account got hacked and someone was siphoning money off of you? Of course not... and you would be uber pissed if the bank said... "yeah, we are aware of it... we will fix it... eventually". I am guessing your patience would be nil. Of course, your guys account is probably fine. Pretty easy to sit on your high horse when you aren't the ones with the issue.

@grimmdogg23 a Google search will tell you SDS is worth about $400 million. Not multi billions.
-
After a few times of witnessing how they treat switch users when they experience issues like this I don’t have a lot of confidence we are going to feel good about how this plays out and gets resolved. Also they just issued and statement saying they are aware of account issues “ some” users are facing and minutes later cancelled PS5 tournaments until “a later time” which further confirms for me they either don’t know what happened or they know what happened is going to take an extended time to fix
-
@BJDUBBYAH Another quick Google search will tell you who owns SDS. Here, I will help. Sony Interactive owns them and they are worth around 150 billion.

It is some users from what I have seen as there are people on reddit who have said that they were able to play fine this morning.
That doesn't make it acceptable to those with the problem but I don't know what else you expect them to say.
-
@grimmdogg23 that by no means, means they have a team of techs working around the clock. It just doesn’t. They might have people on call. But even that takes time.
Tell me, what do you think the issue is?
And how does it get resolved?
Do you think it’s affecting thousands of accounts? I sure do.How long exactly do you think it takes to rectify a situation like this?
I don’t think either of us have the answer to that. But I can assume it might take more than a few hours.

Imagine comparing a bank issue, that deals with actual money, to a video game issue that deals with digital money.

@x814xmafia just waiting for the response about how they paid one hundred whole American dollars, therefore they are the only person that matters right now at this moment and their demands MUST be met. Right Now!
SMDH

@x814xmafia WTF does that even mean? Digital money is money, you pillock.
-
@BJDUBBYAH Yet, you don't defend SDS? Okay, hoss cat. You do you. Also, just $100. There are people that spend more money and time on something they enjoy. And they have every right to [censored] and complain. I bet your account is just fine dandy isn't it? How's the view from up there?
-
@grimmdogg23 while you wait for a fix. Open that news app on your phone and learn about some real problems going on in the world.
And also, you literally said exactly what I called in my previous post ^^^^
$100 is nothing. It just isn’t.

Did you put any money, not including the purchase, price into the game?
-
@x814xmafia Of course I did. I am a diamond or two shy of completing Live Series collection.
-
@BJDUBBYAH Yeah, I saw your other posts about spending money to complete sets. I do it too. I have valid points and you won't change my mind. I also see you keep dodging the "your account must be fine" comment. Because it is. If it wasn't, you'd be pissed too.
-
Correction. I was a diamond or two shy of finishing collections. Now, I have nothing. I can smell a class action lawsuit coming around the bend.
