IMO: Best thing for users to do that had their accounts reset
-
@AnkitD45 lol. Okay champ. Go get em!
-
Imagine defending a company that made a colossal mistake. Yet, they fix coin exploits within minutes. With all due respect, take that ish somewhere else man. They deserve all the heat and negative comments they get.
-
Does anyone know if streamers have this issue? Just curious. I just logged on and have 0 stubs, but the app is fine. Weird.
-
@BJDUBBYAH lmfao this [censored] is just like reddit why are you guys defending sds man have we not been playing the same game?? we put up with it because there is no other option do you think its enjoyable getting in freeze offs or playing against full 99 teams two way player glitches etc? I understand im not a dev i know nothing ab this etc but you would think sds would have some sort of standard especially when it comes to a game breaking "bug" like this that is literally taking away peoples pre order bonuses we paid extra for?? ridiculous can't stand ppl trying to defend SDS
-
@Justillien where and when have I “defended” anything?
-
@BJDUBBYAH
you literally said this when a dev said they had ppl on it "asap" read your own post brother
@BJDUBBYAH said in IMO: Best thing for users to do that had their accounts reset:How can you think anyone is working at a game studio at 3am?
-
@Justillien ASAP stands for As Soon As Possible. Now, while that could be left to interpretation, it does not mean “At the moment” “right now” or “immediately”
It means as soon as possible. I hope that helps.
-
Dude thinks people aren't on call at 3AM for stuff like this. It is a multi billion dollar company. They pay people loads of money to keep servers up to keep the money rolling in. They should pay people the same amount of money to get the community back their "bought and paid for" content. No excuse... I don't care if it is effing Christmas day and people are opening their presents during a White Christmas morning. Get to work and fix it.

Apparently if you are not attacking you are defending.
You can even be upset about something but if you dare preach patience over vitriol then you are defending.
-
@Justillien I'm usually a defender of SDS, but you're right ..this reset account thing is pretty much it for me. I preorder every year, get the MVP edition, etc etc. EA, as shitty as they are, they would have some form of communication with it's player base in MUT if everyone's account went belly up like this. DD is a live service model, yet they don't give us the "live" interaction that they should. And we all know what's going to happen, we'll get a "free" item that's worthless and nonsellable.
It's something every year now, this being the worst year.I love the pinned comment of (I'm paraphrasing here) "try to reset your account to get your stuff back, that might work." How about no SDS! Why should we have to do something to fix something that you guys screwed up on your end. You fix it!
What SDS should really do is take a year or 2 off to get their stuff right in this game like WWE 2k did. Seriously.
-
@Dolenz That is the problem. Patience is not something people have when they put time and money into something. Would you have patience if your bank account got hacked and someone was siphoning money off of you? Of course not... and you would be uber pissed if the bank said... "yeah, we are aware of it... we will fix it... eventually". I am guessing your patience would be nil. Of course, your guys account is probably fine. Pretty easy to sit on your high horse when you aren't the ones with the issue.

@grimmdogg23 a Google search will tell you SDS is worth about $400 million. Not multi billions.

After a few times of witnessing how they treat switch users when they experience issues like this I don’t have a lot of confidence we are going to feel good about how this plays out and gets resolved. Also they just issued and statement saying they are aware of account issues “ some” users are facing and minutes later cancelled PS5 tournaments until “a later time” which further confirms for me they either don’t know what happened or they know what happened is going to take an extended time to fix
-
@BJDUBBYAH Another quick Google search will tell you who owns SDS. Here, I will help. Sony Interactive owns them and they are worth around 150 billion.

It is some users from what I have seen as there are people on reddit who have said that they were able to play fine this morning.
That doesn't make it acceptable to those with the problem but I don't know what else you expect them to say.
-
@grimmdogg23 that by no means, means they have a team of techs working around the clock. It just doesn’t. They might have people on call. But even that takes time.
Tell me, what do you think the issue is?
And how does it get resolved?
Do you think it’s affecting thousands of accounts? I sure do.How long exactly do you think it takes to rectify a situation like this?
I don’t think either of us have the answer to that. But I can assume it might take more than a few hours.
