@BJDUBBYAH The issue started at 10pm Pacific and if there is a serious issue, as a company, you have protocols in place. This isn't a mom & pop operation. It's a mutli-million dollar business that is tied to Sony and their obligations, to Microsoft, and to players outside of US.
You have people in place to monitor things 24/7, especially because money is involved. Do you think if they were being hacked and someone was freely opening packs, everyone would be allowed to have their regular sleep and wait for people to walk in at 8am before doing something about it?

@AnkitD45 if it was some sort of stubs glitch they'd be on it asap this is unacceptable we have to hold sds to some sort of standard they don't even seem to have their own. can't wait until i get my team back so I can get into a 12 hr freeze off! ridicious man why are we defending this????

Yes, it may take awhile. But they're on it.
But what about what 'user' stated they did to get their stuff back?
Well, since I'm seeing/reading thst it isn't working for everyone; DONT attempt it.
It may cause more of a mess for SDS to fix than it is now.
As soon as SDS has a fix; they'll let the community know.
On a side note: with the way people are responding about this, the way people responded to when FB and other META controlled social media platforms crashed awhile back, and when the AT&T servers crashed; the current generation is so 'tied' to digital 'stimulation' if we ever have an 'apocalypse'; we're screwed.
SDS was aware of this 7 hours ago and recommend the "fix" saying peoples accounts had been unlinked when some people don't even have accounts with this website in the first place shits a mess never seen this happen on any other game i've ever purchased people have a right to be upset espically with sds' track record of not fixing their game year after year the patience has been up with these guys its just the only baseball game we have left sadly, i wish 2k was still in production

@Justillien Agreed. The funny thing is last week, there was someone defending the botched patch by saying we are responsible for it because we demanded a fix. Now, this BJDUBBYAH dude thinks SDS employees only work banker's hours!
The problem is, what are we going to do? Not play baseball? What's our alternative? We are like the players and are being forced to wear the Fanatics uniforms with see-through pants... We got nowhere to go...

I understand im not a dev i know nothing ab this etc but you would think sds would have some sort of standard especially when it comes to a game breaking "bug" like this that is literally taking away peoples pre order bonuses we paid extra for?? ridiculous can't stand ppl trying to defend SDS

Dude thinks people aren't on call at 3AM for stuff like this. It is a multi billion dollar company. They pay people loads of money to keep servers up to keep the money rolling in. They should pay people the same amount of money to get the community back their "bought and paid for" content. No excuse... I don't care if it is effing Christmas day and people are opening their presents during a White Christmas morning. Get to work and fix it.

@Justillien I'm usually a defender of SDS, but you're right ..this reset account thing is pretty much it for me. I preorder every year, get the MVP edition, etc etc. EA, as shitty as they are, they would have some form of communication with it's player base in MUT if everyone's account went belly up like this. DD is a live service model, yet they don't give us the "live" interaction that they should. And we all know what's going to happen, we'll get a "free" item that's worthless and nonsellable.
It's something every year now, this being the worst year.I love the pinned comment of (I'm paraphrasing here) "try to reset your account to get your stuff back, that might work." How about no SDS! Why should we have to do something to fix something that you guys screwed up on your end. You fix it!
What SDS should really do is take a year or 2 off to get their stuff right in this game like WWE 2k did. Seriously.

@Dolenz That is the problem. Patience is not something people have when they put time and money into something. Would you have patience if your bank account got hacked and someone was siphoning money off of you? Of course not... and you would be uber pissed if the bank said... "yeah, we are aware of it... we will fix it... eventually". I am guessing your patience would be nil. Of course, your guys account is probably fine. Pretty easy to sit on your high horse when you aren't the ones with the issue.

After a few times of witnessing how they treat switch users when they experience issues like this I don’t have a lot of confidence we are going to feel good about how this plays out and gets resolved. Also they just issued and statement saying they are aware of account issues “ some” users are facing and minutes later cancelled PS5 tournaments until “a later time” which further confirms for me they either don’t know what happened or they know what happened is going to take an extended time to fix
