1 Inning of vs CPU...
-
In one full inning played in a vs CPU game on Veteran I had earned just under 1500 gameplay XP. That is 1/10 (or 10%) of the daily gameplay XP. I will have reached my daily cap in just over 10 innings with this.
-
@dap1234567890 well when you finish that why don't you go take a look at the store to see all the new and shiny packs they have available.
-
@go4stros25 Thanks for the great idea! Maybe should by more stubs to buy those new and shiny packs!
-
I've never seen another online game cap players XP daily like this and basically said "stop playing now". Simply the dumbest content model in existence. Sony needs to clear house at SDS and start over.

Just out of curiosity what did that inning look like? I am assuming you scored got a bunch of hits and scored a ton of runs?
-
13 runs on 13 hits (8x Hrs, 3x 2Bs, 2x 1Bs) and then striking out the side in order.
By far not nearly the biggest inning I've had in vs CPU.
-
How did you get that much XP for just 13 runs? Are you sure you didn't complete something as well?
-
Now what they want is you to grind on mini season just for the pack missions and maybe you will get lucky and pull a high end diamond or something. I mean they took the XP out of it but for most part did not touch the pack part of it so they are like grind for pack and hope your RNG is good.

@bostondirtdog21 I was counting the gameplay xp we see after the half inning is over. I do not believe we see awarded xp in the half inning as we do after the game. I say that because I have never seen more than 99 xp given after a half inning where I pitch and there have been awarded xp later that had to do with pitching. I could be wrong though.

Man - this really puts my gameplay in perspective. I just played a HOF vs CPU with my less (very less) than stellar ALW team and received 2,565 in XP for the whole game.
I really suck at this game, but I like baseball, so I keep playing.
-
New moment idea: hit the daily cap in 1 nine inning game lol
I play on hall of fame and I guarantee I can do this.
-
@dap1234567890
Interesting.... I played four mini-season games yesterday and was only averaging about 800 xp per game. -
I just won my 8th mini-season game of the day. Each one had been a blowout on Veteran. I havenβt hit my Gameplay XP cap yet.

same here

@dap1234567890 maybe you should rethink what you are doing β¦ Because blowing out the CPU will not work

Exactly why the cap is in place, from players blowing out the CPU over and over with 25k XP games.

And you can thank the community for that.

I played the US conquest map and reached the max xp after 17 games or so. Only took about 5 hrs to accrue. To SDSβ credit it may have been a few more 3 inning games. I played a few games before i noticed no xp gain

It's idiotic.
SDS really is stuck in an audience-capture hell. People last year complained about 99's at launch, so this year they went 180 degrees in the opposite direction, including microl-controlling the pace of progress. They really have no vision of their own.
What makes it even more gross is that the best cards available -- at least many of them -- are in packs. I've defended SDS in the past, but [censored] this. They've gone to the dark side. DD is simply not fun, really. Content is boring, and most things are simple rehashes of the past couple of years. It's pathetic.
In spite of this, I am enjoying franchise a bit. It's sad that they've done nothing really of note there, either. But what can you do? I love baseball and I like video games.
Oh, and in the spirit of Carthago delenda est, I'll sign off every post from now on with this: SDS should refund everyone's early-access money, and they have still not apologized for launching a broken game. Shame on them.
