Well it was fun … but then I realized he will not get an out unless I steal home. Every fielder will throw the ball in the exact other direction as I am running (even throwing the ball away when I approached him
) … Yes, I have some crazy stats now that do not match my skill …
But nonetheless … it has to be fixed. I saw a video of a streamer (OhChev), he encountered this too -

Watch posting other player's IDs. That can get you banned. Also, next time you encounter this, just bunt out or swing early.
You need to watch scoring like this in competitive modes. SDS could consider it stat padding and it could also lead to a ban.

I’ve encountered the same thing the last few games I played. Makes the game not worth playing. It’s a huge waste of time playing someone that’s not even trying. SDS please fix this ASAP.

… But posts like this should help and not be cause for caution It, hopefully, will but you should also make sure to report it on here as a ticket in theshow.com, not just on the forum. You should also take his user name off of this.

@x814xmafia I would hope they would check game logs before banning people. You don't control who you match up with and if the other team is doing this every game (which they are), it should be PRETTY obvious the person with the 50+ runs is not the one at fault. Not to mention SDS is the one that decided that the mercy rule shouldn't kick in until the 4th inning. If they would change that, the people doing this would likely go away.

I was going to say something similar. SDS does not condone bots or trading wins.
I think it was last year that a bunch of people got banned (some maybe unfairly) early on for that behavior.

Bots? Are we being serious or is this some new slang for someone who sucks? Regardless I’m glad someone brought it up because I’ve never heard of such a thing. Is the suspicion that this is just a new way to troll? To purposely fool the logic in order to illicit bans on the unsuspecting?

I would hope they would look at the game history and see that the same bots were involved. I mean what are you supposed to do if you get matched up with one? Not play? I mean cmon now.

What's the point of the person running a Bot account? I've yet to run into this yet, but i haven't heard an explanation of WHY someone would waste their time doing this either.

Dont understand how you can put up such bloated stats.
Just played my first ranked seasons and i was up against a legit player 4-0 going into the bottom of the 6th.
He got frustrated (i guess) after only getting 2 hits in six innings and basically stopped playing at that point letting the pitcher auto pitch and fielders just stood there letting me round the basses for 6 consecutive inside the park home runs.
Once i hit 10-0 the game was called for mercy rule.
How are you getting around the mercy rule?
