Since we're not getting any more 2023 cards, we can do final tallies on how many cards each team got and how that proves just how much SDS "hates" your favorite team.

    To the scoreboard...

    Most Cards:
Yankees: 95 (Makes sense, they've got the most HOF and were at their peak during the 90s-00s where SDS is pulling a plurality of legends)
    Braves: 80
    Red Sox: 79
    Dodgers: 78
    Cardinals: 77

    Least Cards:
    Nationals: 46
    Royals: 47
    White Sox: 49
Free Agents: 50 (the three teams above should be embarrassed)
    Rockies: 51
    Athletics: 54

Note: Because of TA and Collection requirements, there was a bare minimum of 17 cards for each team.

    Final 4 Playoff Teams:
    Rangers: 68
    Diamondbacks: 69
    Astros: 72
    Phillies: 75

Home Town Padres: only 57, a bit of a shocker.

my braves did well. I managed to collect a 97 overall braves team.

the nats having such low total is understandable.
isn't it odd that so many players from the nats are on the phillies now? especially from there world series run in 2019

How are you counting free agents? Because I count 965 of them.

Of course pure numbers does not always tell the complete picture.

According to your numbers the Royals had more cards than the Nationals. But, looking at it close, the Royals only got five 99 overall cards. The Nationals got twice that number with ten 99 overall cards. So to me the Royals were hosed more than any other team by a large margin.

I agree that the Yankees should have the most but my problem lies in just how many more they have. More than two times more cards than the bottom two teams.

It's also interesting that teams that got an influx of playoff and WS cards were still 20 or more cards behind the Yankees.

Just because the game is made there doesn’t mean a thing. I’ve seen more Yankees fans on the streams as part of the development team than Padres fans.

Being a Bills fan who used to play Madden, it drove me nuts to see the lack of cards they got, while the Cowboys and Steelers were tripping over cards.

As a Yankee fan, I do appreciate having access to so many cards, but I agree that it's excessive. By the end of the season, every single team should be able to have a 97 or higher card for every starting position. With the history of the game, it shouldn't be too hard to find.

Or, one thing Madden did well, was let you choose the team the player was associated with, so long as that player actually played for that team in real life.
