@YOSHI24 Thanks for posting this. I havent paid much attention to captains this year but now with all cards available i tried out a few. The dodgers and braves are incredible.
Definetly try out all of them … I never had this much fun all year :).
I hope, they do NOT bring back Captains. Still I will do theme teams in 12 months like this -
I did do this every year with my Angels. This year it turned into a god squad. Thank god for Logan O'Hoppe.

I’m an Atlanta guy, been watching the Braves since the early 90s. So this year, it’s SOOOO easy to make a good Braves squad!

I actually won a ranked game with my Mariners theme team today. Big maple on the mound and the Logan Gilbert captain boost. Even got a knock with Edgar and Raoul Ibanez drove in a pair. Kind of in shock, but stoked!

@halfbutt did my Mariners game too a few minutes ago … Started Randy and subbed him out in the 6th pitching a one-hitter in a 1-0 game. In came Kirby, followed by BigMaple … Castillo closed out the shutout.
Mike Cameron hit the only run, a solo-shot …
This afternoon, I did the Marlins … that was tough, although I only lost 7-4 against a World Series player :). Young Miggy with a bomb :)…

I haven’t had much luck with Cameron yet, but I like that card.
Only thing about the M’s theme team is there are no lefty relievers. Might have to use Randy or Robbie Ray out of the pen. -
Also, a Norm Charlton card would be sick.

Just did the Braves … had to bring the Big3. Unfortunately the bullpen is pretty weak, so I lost in extras :). But: Fun starting9 … next ist the Braves so I can sell Finest Nimmo to get some stubs back

… But boy do they have a bad bullpen :). Taillon got the start and win (too easy to start Skenes, Taillon was awesome), Skenes/Bednar sealed it -
Down to the last team, the Dodgers … Had fun with the Rockies (until the guy quit in the 2nd), after that … Shield Woods … German Marquez did his best
… but the stadium is not fun at all.Had an awesome game with the Padres (lefty heavy) against John Donaldson
… Tied the game on a Soto bomb, after that the guy quit due to a xmas party I totally sold the Giants game and now I am taking a day off for the Dodgers and Nando

I had to have 99 Big Mac in there … I had Lou Brock as my captain, which hurt a lot. Too bad, you cannot use the better version of the captain.
But the boost on Lou gave Edmons, Musial and Holliday good enough defense, especially having Nootbar on the bench for defensive purposes.If I remember correctly, I had BigMac at first, Carpenter at 2nd, Ozzie had to be in there at SS
and DeJong at 3B. At Catcher I had Contreras over TorreNice lineup, got the W

Gotta try out the other captains too. Just had a full team Sosa-Cpt-squad. You have to put Thome at 3B to make it work. The Outfield consists of Griffey, Mantle, Mays … My opponent started Randy, so I could DH Mig Bac … It worked out, a tight 2-0 pitchers duel (also had Randy on the Pedro captain squad) with a Griffey Big Fly and Mantle coming through.
The Lindor Captain is also very nice.
EDIT: And the Piazza Catcher captain team is very solid. Santana fits in at 3rd, DiHigo at SS with Biggio manning 2B
