Regardless, SDS seemingly nerfed some card attributes for the sake of Captains, to make it where you almost need to use a Captain. If the Cap cards were actually good, then this exploit would not even be relevant.
You do realize that even if they sub out the Captain card; the other players keep the boost.

I just had a game against somebody … 300-50 some record … Shield Woods (no, not again —> other thread :)) and an active Ripken Boost … Level 3 … but no Ripken anywhere (even on the bench).
I paused and texted him, why he has to use exploits … he is just good without it.
After that, he accepted my friendly request (park-related on my part :)), but spammed my inbox … „I just like to have fun …“Yes, I reported him

I don’t disagree. What I’m saying. Is they know the foul ball thing is an issue they’ve openly addressed it. Well when people continue to use directional hitting this knowing foul balls are an issue…this would be an exploit by the letter of the law.

Foul balls happen too much because of the OP contact swing, and the outer PCI ring being too big. If they messed with this, then a lot of users would be turned off due to their higher strikeout rate.Instead of so many RS divisions, they should just have something like AS and HOF and you can choose which one to compete in. To me this game plays best on HOF, while a lot of others may prefer AS.

Was just looking through the game updates from this season and y’all will be very happy to know that the Captain “glitch” was fixed way back on June 23 by way of DD game update 8 lol see for yourselves!

I know it is funny, but that was another one … folks, they won‘t do big fixes anytime soon. They are working on 24 and are close to finalizing that for integration tests … We will have a beta in 8 weeks, so I suppose @SDS there is steam coming out of the office

Well, if they're not going to fix it; then they need to do what they said about suspending people that use the glitch.
Heck, they had a Top player put out a video on how to do the glitch and that person is still playing the game.
I played some Event games, on this and my other account, today, and 9 out 10 of my opponents did the glitch by either subbing out Ripken, during his first AB, or by the other way. Someone had the Mookie boost and they had Finest Mookie in their lineup.
Patch it or start throwimg out the ban hammers.

How many people playing the game even know how captains were initially supposed to function? At this point in the game cycle, I’m not sure that can be considered a glitch or exploit. It is just how the game works.
I still think SDS should just put out a statement of how to swap out the captain for the higher overall player so everyone can use it for set 6. 99% of the theme teams still are worse off than a god squad without a captain boost anyway.

I’d say glitch since they tried to patch it and the patch didn’t work. That’s a glitch they can’t seem to fix although they tried to fix it. Same thing happened to the 2 way player stamina but the patch fixed the issue.
The new scouting feature in franchise doesn’t work for multiplayer franchises. That is a programming issue they clearly didn't have someone try to attempt and do.
See the difference between a glitch and them making a massive programming error?

Again here … read the game update 8-info again … they fixed that.
The other things:
a) Substitue the captain in-game … they never implemented it so they could not fix it

Lmao gentlemen allow me to issue you special Karen license. Not just because of the “the view” type bickering but to let you know that the captain problem if fixed would not make a bit of difference in you win lose ratio. Stop blaming stupid things and actually accept your status in this game. Then move on if this game isn’t for you. All this dorky hall monitoring running you mouth thing isn’t helping you case. Also sorry you lost in dd. It happens to me all the time. Goodday.
