No they won’t throw us a bone at all this year. They know everyone wants that Trout and if you don’t gave 800 thousand stubs which most normal people don’t , then you can always drop 600 bucks in the game and get him. It’s a money grab basically. If this were last year and you could sell the stuff you going for then people could afford it. They don’t want that. Just amazing they can keep putting out sub par recycled content and expect people to keep playing the game. It’s bad enough the good cards are behind a pay wall
Please don’t be offended but you mean the cards you deem as good. There hasn’t been a single card in a pack I felt I had to have or else. Definitely not the Trout card. He wouldn’t get past Junior or Commerce Comet as my CFer.

Not offended at all. I get what your saying . Don’t need have trout on my team. It’s more like he’s a fan favorite and has a great swing on the game. It’s more i want him on my team as do a lot of people. I’m just saying it’s terrible of them hide the cards people WANT in packs behind and equivalent of around 600 bucks. What you said isn’t wrong at all I’m just looking at it a different way than you do

I’ve opened probably 60 chase packs this year and got 2 of the “top prizes”
Shohei twice in the first season. That’s it.

Don’t forget they aren’t the ones posting the cards on the market for 600k. It’s greedy a— people who got the card who are posting them on the market. I managed to get the stubs and bought Commerce Comet. I didn’t buy stubs for him. I didn’t pay those stubs to SDS. I believe there was a day they use to cap amount you could sell cards for and everyone cried. Can’t cry about it being this way now. Free market and all.

Move on and play with other players.
If we don’t react SDS feels it. -

Greedy people lmao. So I assume if you pulled Milestone Trout and didn't want him, you would quicksell him for 10k stubs, right? That is what SDS has him valued at, and posting for anything more than that would be greedy...
Also, there is still a cap for selling cards (one million) and no one is crying. The issue in past games with that limit was the ridiculous lines that would form because stubs were plentiful while the card supply was pitiful.

I’d collect and use him. I’m not the one crying about the prices and calling SDS greedy. They don’t set the prices we set the prices. If we don’t buy them the people who are selling will lower the prices. They limit the supply, yes, but we are the ones controlling the prices of the product in the store.

"Don’t forget they aren’t the ones posting the cards on the market for 600k. It’s greedy a— people who got the card who are posting them on the market."
What I'm taking issue with is calling people who are selling the rarest cards in the game greedy for posting them at prices people are willing to spend. That's what I think is laughable. If you were selling a home, would you sell it for $5 because a random guy you don't know would like to live there, or would you sell it for what the market deems it is worth?

You’re right. I said it and I own the statement. I take it back. I bought Commerce Comet and didn’t buy stubs so I’ve sold my fair share in there so I’m one guilty of what I accuse others of.

Mathematically speaking, the odds of hitting one of the diamonds are 50/50, because it’ll either happen or it won’t happen.
-
So far it “won’t happened” to me 361 straight times

Exactly. 50% of the time, it works every time. It’s science.

Not really. With a Chase pack you have a 100% chance of getting a diamond. It's an 85 but it is a diamond. Now if you want the Chase pack headliner there is a 1% chance of hitting that pack.

I was just throwing out an Anchorman quote by the legendary Brian Fantana. I quit collecting digital cards when Set 4 came out.
