If you HAD to pick one, what game in MLB history is your favorite?
-
For me it’s Game 6 of the 1986 World Series, hands down. It featured my favorite team in a ‘win or die’ scenario with their season hinging on a single AB in the bottom of the ninth with two outs and losing by 2 runs yet they found a way to get it done!
ps Game 7 was awesome too but, after game 6, I don’t think there was a Met fan (or RedSox fan for that matter lol) on the planet that felt the Mets were capable of losing that game.
pss what’s y’all’s favorite game? what made it special?

Game 7 2016, back and forth between the Cubs and Guardians, Davis home run in the 8th ties it at 6 and Cub fans start worrying, rain delay in the 10th and then the Cubs come out swinging, zobrist double to center scores Almora Jr and then Montero come up and gives the Cubs a huge 2 run lead with a clutch single. Guardians almost came back. I was working because i was the night shift but watching on my phone. I'm pretty sure you could hear my celebrating from the other side of the warehouse lol. Just a amazing game. Rizzo with that last out.

That was an awesome, awesome series. Poor ol Lebron lol

I'm an Angels fan , game 7 of the 2002 ws ,

Sweet. I’m trying to think back without peeking I distinctly remember 2000, 2001 and 2004, but 02 and 03 aren’t jumping out at me…was this the series where Edmonds played center for them and made a couple of the greatest catches ever?

It was the Giants vs Angels series. Incredible series. Edmonds, Erstad, Glaus, Figgins, Eckstein. That Angel team was incredible and that rotation of Ramon Ortiz, Kevin Appier, Aaron Sele, Jared Washburn with Francisco Rodriguez and Troy Percival as closers.

Yankees against the Marlins was 2003, crazy series, still can't believe the Marlins pulled that series off.

Same game Randy Johnson struck a bird

2022 WS game 7! I had pneumonia and refused to go to the ER until after it finished. Moaning in pain, I didn't miss a pitch. Worst part was missing the after party because they kept me overnight.

Tyler, you see how everyone just blows by your response and doesn’t even recognize you. That should tell you something. Now go back to your Hot Pockets and Red Bulls

Texas Boomer you see how you're the only one that responded to me? Where no one responded to you until you mentioned me? You're vicariously famous because of me. See how hypocrisy works?

LMAO word it however you need to so that you feel relevant. Just realize that there is a big difference between the two of us and hypocrisy isn’t one of them at least from my side. Right cupcake.

He was the only one who responded because the rest of us don’t see your responses. You literally have zero to contribute so why waste the time reading the senseless repetitive drivel?
