Sweet. I’m trying to think back without peeking I distinctly remember 2000, 2001 and 2004, but 02 and 03 aren’t jumping out at me…was this the series where Edmonds played center for them and made a couple of the greatest catches ever?

It was the Giants vs Angels series. Incredible series. Edmonds, Erstad, Glaus, Figgins, Eckstein. That Angel team was incredible and that rotation of Ramon Ortiz, Kevin Appier, Aaron Sele, Jared Washburn with Francisco Rodriguez and Troy Percival as closers.

Yankees against the Marlins was 2003, crazy series, still can't believe the Marlins pulled that series off.

2022 WS game 7! I had pneumonia and refused to go to the ER until after it finished. Moaning in pain, I didn't miss a pitch. Worst part was missing the after party because they kept me overnight.

Tyler, you see how everyone just blows by your response and doesn’t even recognize you. That should tell you something. Now go back to your Hot Pockets and Red Bulls

Texas Boomer you see how you're the only one that responded to me? Where no one responded to you until you mentioned me? You're vicariously famous because of me. See how hypocrisy works?

LMAO word it however you need to so that you feel relevant. Just realize that there is a big difference between the two of us and hypocrisy isn’t one of them at least from my side. Right cupcake.

He was the only one who responded because the rest of us don’t see your responses. You literally have zero to contribute so why waste the time reading the senseless repetitive drivel?

That was an outstanding game! Unit’s perfect game is another one that, every time I watch it, I get goosebumps. Friggin goosebumps!

    Great selection @jake98833_PSN

August 27, 1996 - I attended a game at SkyDome to watch Paul Molitor come back to Toronto with the Twins. He smacked five hits. I think I was the only one in the whole stadium applauding. It was a great night. (I was an Expos fan but Molitor was the best for me, so I cheered for him when he was in Toronto too).

What a great thing to see and experience! Paul Molitor was a legendary ball player - he was throwback even when he played and was well loved for being such was he not! Much, MUCH better than this game has ever given him credit as being…as has been the case with several lol

Great post, great memory and I thank you!

Love this game…I make sure a watch this game every 1-3 years and have for over 30 years. This is one of those games that lives in infamy and I applaud you for having this be your favorite game! I am very glad that the Red Sox finally shook the coise of the Bambino and finally got them a WS title in 2004 and many more since….especially after what they went through in this epic WS and in 1986.

    Excellent choice mang!
