I was specifically talking about the Bob Feller one for the final Showdown. It was only my first attempt at it so everyone relax. Just seemed fishy. As for my remark on the exit velos and swinging a garden hose underwater... To me it makes sense because it seemed like my bat was really slow in it and when I did make decent contact that is what happened. Giving it the second try now so hopefully I'll get Feller this time.

1st boss: Starting with bases loaded, score four runs before making 7 outs against Matt Barnes on Rookie
2nd boss: Score one run before making 13 outs against Shane Bieber on Veteran lmao.
3rd boss: Ken “punch myself in the face” Giles lol
If you have trouble with those then I don’t know what to tell you.
There are different pitchers than just the ones you faced.
In fact, different people have different experiences than you, in the game, and in life.
“Unbelievably easy”, whether true or not, is not the point. The point (to me anyway) is that we have to pay to participate in a moments based mode where sliders have obviously been tweaked to make it more difficult.
The point to me isn’t the stubs to play (with any semi-good run you make your stubs back). To me, like you mentioned, it s a moments-based mode. Except, with moments, you can try them as often as you want until you succeed. Here, it’s all or nothing. You ground into a double play and you’re nearly toast.

The purpose was to bring intense offline game play, every at bat is intense.
I am in middle of it right now just lost first challenge the cleanup hitter with base loaded and 2 outs flew out to deep center with JD

I picked Hanley and am in middle of it but only failed one challenge 1st boss was Steve Bedrosian same scenario as Barnes.

It’s funny I faced Giles as the final boss down 15-7. I made it 15-11 rather quickly, making 3 outs to go to 17 outs remaining. It took me until I had 6 outs remaining to score the 5 remaining runs I needed. His pitching wasn’t hard it was the stellar gold glove defenders making amazing diving catches. But I beat it so I’m done with it

Yeah, I had Oscar Mercado make a full superman catch in center, and then the left fielder (couldn’t figure out who #20 for Cleveland was) do the sliding rob on a sinking liner.

Hit a HR in 1st AB, then proceeded to line out to Bellinger, line out to Mookie in right, line out to Turner 3 times in a row. Rinse, repeat, anyway i made 19 straight outs that way before i just dashboarded. Yeah, that was frustrating.

I don’t think this is the case. It will go down as a loss, right? I think he just meant he said screw it (I can sympathize). Anyone else know?

I failed it last night playing drunk, but had bob feller as the boss... . Today beat it with Giles as boss. Way easier ( sober and the pitcher lol)
