Foul balls need to be nerfed

Oh boohoo you probably lost because of a guy constantly fouling off balls.
    Or
It doesn't seem like a problem to me so stop crying about it.
    Or
I didn't hear you about it when you were winning.

Am I doing it right brother? 😃

    I didn’t lose

I asked if I was doing it right?

    I didn’t lose.

But I gave you three options why are you only mentioning the first? You're being very selective here. Oh well, at least you're consistent in behavior.

Did you have a notification for me commenting? Seems like it lol have fun

You should ask them where they live, since it’s not weird at all.

You think I care? I live in South Texas. You're more than welcome to come over for some good ole Texas BBQ.

Checks the box. Close to a server and probably use to connect to that one all the time.

    KC barbecue better. ijs.

It really isn't weird at all if you are curious who the hell sds is matching you with. I find it weird that you think it's weird. No one gives a [censored] who you are.

    I didn't think it's weird?

I think once we start forgetting who we are bickering at the discourse should end for the day.

Come visit DFW and I will introduce you to Hard 8 and Tenders BBQ ( Tori Hunter’s place). I’ve been all over TX and they are my top 2.

I played someone today who was either blind or messing around. He literally swung at every pitch I threw.
So starting in the 2nd inning, I threw every pitch in the dirt (bouncing) or 2ft above his head.
I won 5-0 (he was a decent pitcher), but here are the results...

    -16 K's
-32 balls in the dirt fouled off.
-1 single on a slider to Donaldson in the left handed batters box.
-1 bunt single on a fastball in the dirt.
-1 ball to the warning track on a fastball up and in and well off the plate, head level.

Do I need to explain my point?

These results are nothing short of silly.
The debate should be, which baseball game feels more realistic-- Mario Super Sluggers or The Show 23?

I encourage you all to run this experiment as well, lest I be accused of shenanigans.

you know i read your subject header first and thought to myself "wow this thread is going to be absolute [censored]"

so i get into the thread, read your post, and besides how cringy it reads - i beg to ask of you good sir - what in gods name is wrong with you?

So, the point of my op was that contact swing can keep the worst players competitive.
And if I actually threw the fella strikes, he might have scored a few runs by accident.
The big red wiffle bat keeps everyone in the game!

It’s not even contact swings normal swings produce too much contact and too many foul balls.

It’s not even contact swings normal swings produce too much contact and too many foul balls.

On the flip side, too many pitches that catch a large chunk of the strike zone end in weak fly balls despite good timing.

I agree with this. I find it tends to happen when you're dicing through a lineup and your pitch count is low. I was playing a game last night where I had only tossed 37 pitches into the 5th inning...then I went 3 up, 3 down on 33 pitches.. I know these AB's happen IRL, I play baseball still IRL...you'll see a 15 pitch AB every once in a while. But it'll happen two or three times a game, sometimes in the same inning. Just gets annoying, nothing you can do about it

Love it. Game stinks, people here will cry about this post because they have an obsession with baseball, they put too much money into the game/all of their life and can’t stomach the thought of it being for a no reason/bad game.

Game is going backwards and people are leaving left and right.
