I Ran an Experiment...

I played someone today who was either blind or messing around. He literally swung at every pitch I threw.
So starting in the 2nd inning, I threw every pitch in the dirt (bouncing) or 2ft above his head.
I won 5-0 (he was a decent pitcher), but here are the results...

-16 K's
-32 balls in the dirt fouled off.
-1 single on a slider to Donaldson in the left handed batters box.
-1 bunt single on a fastball in the dirt.
-1 ball to the warning track on a fastball up and in and well off the plate, head level.

Do I need to explain my point?

These results are nothing short of silly.
The debate should be, which baseball game feels more realistic-- Mario Super Sluggers or The Show 23?

I encourage you all to run this experiment as well, lest I be accused of shenanigans.

Well,if those locations were truly unhittable then in H2H modes no one would throw anywhere else,every game would go deep into extra innings with no runs and no hits and everybody would stop playing.........
