I think the changes they made to TA this season were solid. Only thing I wish was different was they should let us repeat the conquests to get 1 voucher for every 5 stronghold wins.

I really liked the All Star mission, beat Seattle on Vet or better. They should have missions like that in all programs. Beat certain teams on a certain difficulty.

... how? The whole point of Ranked is that you can use anyone (Sets not withstanding). Why should you earn a TA voucher for tone of the divisions if only a handful of your roster is from that division?

Do something like a combination of PXP, moments, event wins, showdown, ranked wins
I have no interest in playing online to finish team affinity I already opt out of those rewards
Then just do pxp....

I don’t really see how that changes much about TA. Getting a Ranked win earns you PxP which progresses TA. If you supplement that for a voucher thats like supplementing a red apple for a green apple. You make progress either way but If you don’t win at RS you still make progress. I’ll take that apple please.

The point is you can't get credit for TA progress if you're not doing something TA related.
That's like demanding credit for a BR win every time you win 3 Play vs. CPU games.

I started playing DD in '21 and was mostly offline. I have transitioned to where my preference is online. There is no question that programs are immensely easier to complete for the offline player. 1.5x pxp doesn't make a dent in completing programs compared to things like Showdown, Conquest, Mini Seasons, PXP Missions, etc. The only way I can really complete programs this year is if I decide I am not playing online and start slogging through Showdowns, Conquests, etc.

When it was changed to divisions instead of teams most people were much happier about it. I don’t think they will go back to it when the consensus was that it’s better this way.

If team affinity is going to be the same as years past then let us have REPEATABLE showdowns. The grind is ungodly mind numbing and not fun at all

I’m asking for other ways to earn besides mindless playing the cpu, after conquest and show downs, it’s play mini seasons, beat the Rockies in 9 inning games or exchanges, it feels more like a job to get it done. mini seasons gives you 1 for voucher for five wins, ranked can do that too.

Wait, you can earn points playing online that go towards TA3. After the game scroll to the right and it will show you what XP you have earned towards it.

That would be a nice way to trim down some of the grind. Pretty sure they did the repeatable TA vouchers for Showdown in 20 and maybe 21 as well.
Speaking of The Show 20, I forget sometimes how in that game each individual team had their own TA path. Not sure looking back, but I don't believe it was more time consuming than the current format since they had the repeatable vouchers available and also because the exchange prices weren't absolutely stupid like they are this year.
