I'd love a good Willie McGee card, not sure what they are thinking with Ludwick. Basically a forgettable one year wonder, good for the team at the time but not what most Cards fans are clamoring for...hell with the focus on 2 way players this year I would take a good Ricky Ankiel card over Ludwick

As a Yankees fan, I'm not thrilled and think this is the worst season to date. I really don't like that they broke up the TA set into it's own collection. With the sets as large as they are, this feels like a bit much to me

I will say that for the rest of the year I expect to never hear a Braves fan say that SDS hates their team and overlooks their players.

Some of the changes to streamline the PXP missions on stuff like POTM seems very welcome we will see how it pans out.
There was a lot of great looking content but not a lot, in my opinion, to get excited about as a Cardinal fan.
90 Matt Holliday - Who wants a 90 overall at this point or who wants a Matt Holliday with power in the 70s
90 Masyn Winn - Again, who wants a 90 at this stage.
94 Alex Reyes TA Flashback - Not awful but not sure I use him with the new pitching captain.
95 Bob Gibson - Just what everyone wants a Captain who boosts Stamina more than anything else. And a downgrade from his 99 card
97 Jim Edmonds - Online reward and a downgrade from his set 1 99 card.
97 Arenado - This one I will use, luckily he is easy to get.And maybe I am not as much of a Cardinals fan as I think I am but in the rich history of Cardinal Players past and present they give us Ryan effing Ludwick for Team Affinity.
Dude, I literally said….really? Ryan effing Ludwick?

Or Angels! Both of them have pretty much a full Set 3 theme team on day one of Season 3.

But I think they are in both collections. Actually they must be. So you just get 2 for 1 with each collectible.

Pretty happy with the content as a Rockies fan.
97 Elias Díaz, finally get to replace 77 overall LS Diaz at catcher.
94 Hampson, will start on the TT at 2B.
97 Kris Bryant, might not make the squad but it’s nice having a good Season 3 and 4 option.
95 Greg Holland, will replace his 89 Core in the pen.
94 Pomeranz, much needed LH bullpen option.
95 Blackmon, nearly equal as to Set 1 97 if you use him at DH (where he belongs).
95 Freeland, pitch mix scares me but SP is hard to come by for the Rockies TT. Replaces 91 Tyler Anderson in the rotation.
97 Arenado, will probably use his 95 with Larry Walkers captain boost but it’s nice having a 97 option for Season 3 and 4.
94 Dickerson, probably won’t play much but I’ll take it for TA purposes.
95 Giambi, meh but a nice bench bat for the TT. -

I am not a Cards fan but in addition to the ones ypu mentioned, Vince Coleman is a card that I would love to see. He was one of my fav players growing up. Tommy Herr? (I think that is his name) that waould be a cool card too.

Tom Brunansky. Would’ve rather they kept Herr. And wish they would put Coleman in the game. Favorite player growing up. Three years with 100+ steals in a row, the first of which he didn’t even get called up until late April and still stole 110.

I like that they have held back stuff as well so tye mini season is a couple weeks away, All Star program will happen after the game.
Season 3 feels more spread out already and stuff to look forward to. Also admitting in the stream they haven't handled the grind 99 right in the game during season 2 so lots of positives here

Yes yes that’s the fella. I remember now that trade mystified me and seemed like neither player was able to settle in. They had just faced off in the WS too hadn’t they? I liked Brunansky with the twins

I like both of them too and am a big fan of Tommy Herr. I just think they are long shots compared to the ones I mentioned.

Terry Pendleton spent the first 7 years of his career in STL but played better during his 5 year stint with ATL

Never say never, saw a Yankee fan complaining about the new set already. You know, since they definitely need more players than any other team.

Terry Pendleton spent the first 7 years of his career in STL but played better during his 5 year stint with ATL
He was a vacuum at third for them and such a critically key stick for them as well - the Braves. Funny how some places are just a better fit ain’t it? Phew Trea Turner sure could attest to this
