Generic names, 30, 35 and 40 game careers, spending stubs to full boost their attributes. That was alot of fun man. I still think that was way better than what we have now

My entire lineup, rotation, bench and bullpen are Core and Set Two
Other than Henderson I don't really think there is any player who cannot easily be replaced with set 2 or whatever comes next.
Is that Rickey, Gunnar, or Billingham?

It was a lot of fun and had lots of strategy. I think they are trying for a little bit of that with expiring sets and wild cards.

Which ironically means you grinded more than I did for set 1 cards because I don't have any of those players.

Father's Day program a W if the Holiday's were last and Griffey's or Leiter's were the pack.
That would have been the way to go. They packed the stat missions for that program all for an underwhelming 97 Griffey who everybody knows is a poor man's version. It would have been so cool to introduce a new legend like Matt Holliday by having him be the final reward of that program. I think people would have even been fine if it was a 97 overall just for the sake of it being someone new to freshen things up.
Immediately locking him behind an expensive pack just seems like the new normal unfortunately.
