I'm with you on this. Just give us the option to select a stadium to do these moments in. All the weird stuff in the sky and outfield is distracting when it suddenly moves.

What if they're not fun?
Then that is when to stop playing the game and find one that is enjoyable. Why play a video game if it makes you miserable? Why force the issue instead of playing something that is enjoyable?
tbh, I don't care either way. I'm more upset that they gave us these things instead of actually updating the flaws in the creator itself that have existed since day one

I didn't say one cannot be upset or dislike aspects of the game and still enjoy the game. I think we all have been upset with SDS and have plenty of things we rather have SDS focus on, but we can still enjoy a video game!

I think they should add that if you hit any of the dinosaurs it’s automatically 10 runs lol.. Look none of these stadiums are online, so it’s ok, it’s for moments and a showdown.

THIS…I have no problem with people playing the game how they want, They paid their money same as anyone. But there needs to be an option for traditionalists to not play in these insane created stadiums. There should be options like in COD to check what games you want to play but do it for stadiums…Have 4 options to uncheck - MLB, Minors, Classic & Created. Problem solved & everyone can play in the environment they like.

Simple solutions to obvious problems like this are not appreciated.
Just like a simple Capped mode to also give us “traditionalists” a way to play DD online without having to play a roster full of 99s.

I think they do have that option!
I think it's called a PS4 or Xbox1, if I'm not mistaken.

They also need to disable sound effects for visiting teams.

I am indifferent on the stadiums. I love the cards, but hate the shadows. All of the crazy stuff felt like fortnite, which the game doesn't need, but I guess it is now targeting a younger demographic.

I don't think DD has ever been the "realistic sim" portion of the game! Hence the having players from the Pre-1900 era, the dead ball era, WWII era, segregation era, post-war era, westward expansion era, dead ball #2 era, DH/FA/Arb era, steriod era, and the wild card era in the same lineup!
Also, I didn't know anyone was saying DD was a "realistic sim"? Have I missed all of these posts in this forum that has made you so upset that you had to tell people to stop making such posts?

I think you all are misinterpreting the original post. Subsequent posts should have cleared it up. But I’ll be more direct:
I don’t care about dinosaurs in the background because this is a video game. For years there have been people who complain about “realism,” or lack thereof, and I was simply pointing out that the desire for realism is nonsensical because this is a video game. Hopefully the dinosaurs in the background will drive that point home?
Is that more clear, Farris? Undertaker?

I just want the game to be fun. Play like a sim but have an arcade style background is pretty fun to me. Kind of best of both world. Play in your boring ball park if you want. I like all the props in my created one. Just try to enjoy yourself.

I won't be on board with the dinos until they give us the full Jurassic park and let them break containment and run around eating people and get everything shut down until someone else comes in and starts it back up just to make the same mistakes and have it happen again,just like the movies.
