I'm not sure WHY it would happen with a post regarding the path SDS is taking this mode.
Basically, almost every player is going to get a 95+ card. The popular players will likely get 4 or 5.
All in the name of "content"...as if there aren't 30 teams with 40 man rosters. Spanning over 100 years of history.
The mode is just 99's at every position all year round now.
And because most people who play the game lack much creativity...we mostly just see the same 99's used by everyone.
Again...if that's what the goons who destroy every pitch want so that they can see who the biggest GOON on the planet is...then just give them a mode where they can play with players with maxed out ratings who all have the exact same height and weight...and have the same swing, etc etc....and then they can see who has the most SKILL on the planet.
Good. Great. Wonderful. Hope they have a swell time playing that. Sounds incredibly interesting.

Question…I see several posts like this every week on here. If you don’t like all the 99’s then why not just play BR? Or play regs? It just seems silly to me to play the one mode on this game that has teams with all 99’s if you don’t like teams with all 99’s!
BR is only 3 innings…and you can’t pick your roster from cards in your collection, you are stuck with the luck of the draft.
Online ranked gives you zero choice in roster building and has a grand total of zero historic players and/or teams.
Everyone here loves to rag on 2K…but even they have classic teams available in Online Ranked games.

nope not the case but this year everyone is losing to a "stacked" team at some point, my team is "stacked" as well.

It was a cool concept but it also seems like they didn’t think about it at all, and people just can’t admit it was a terrible idea to have POTMs as good as any old choice pack? And choice packs that are as good as the LS collection rewards?

when the generation of 15-24 yr olds have been so used to been given everything, and the outcry from them is its too hard ot get a 99 team, of course the pandering SDS will cave to them what else do you expect ?

I’m afraid to post it, because I don’t want to be harassed or told “ok boomer”…but there is definitely truth to it.

FYI, There are numerous leagues a person can join where teams aren't full of 95+ cards. You can even play online with those teams consisting of current, past, legend, etc.. players.
I get some people do not like playing RS games against "GOD SQUAD" teams. Unfortunately, I would have to say more people prefer playing Ranked games with a stacked lineup opposed to one with a bunch of silver and gold players.

I’m liking it so far, think about, this is the first time there is about 8-9 useable lefty relievers in the game and not just the trio of Wagner, Hader and Chapman. Soto (who is usually the 4th), Chafin, Rogers, Doolittle, Young, Alvarado, Matzek and may have forgetton about one, and some are better than others, but it’s never been like this before.

I personally like the first few months of a year more because of not having stacked lineups and being able to use live series players.
I still want a live series only game mode. Even if almost everyone uses the same cards in it. Most every lineup is a meta lineup now, and live series are irrelevant. Now they’re irrelevant immediately instead of after a few months. -
