Who is your prediction for the monthly lightning card?
-
I am afraid to even guess. Do they ignore the top guys in the league like they did last year (Judge, Goldschmidt, Arrenado) because they already have or will be getting other cards? Or do they just give them out anyway since they will all be either set 1 or set 2 cards.
-
I think it’ll be Adley Ruschman.

At this point who really cares. 99s all over the field kinda takes the enthusiasm out of the sails on these types of programs.
Not a complaint either. It is what it is but I don't have excitement towards programs this year like I have in years past.

I think this year it’s all on the table.
Luis Arraez probably wouldn’t excite many people but he is hitting .444 and had the first cycle in Marlins history.
Adolis García had the 3 HR day and has 28 RBIs.
Maybe just have a Rays program?
It won’t be a pitcher but Gerrit Coke deserves consideration.

I have an awful feeling it's going to be Gerrit Cole.
I'm really hoping for Max Muncy.God please no

I like Pete Alonso but given my profile pic I think that's me being a homer without taking a look at what others have done.
Given my profile pic I think they should make the entire Pirates' team the player of the month.
-
I'll guess Matt Chapman. Marsh, Muncy, Arraez among the henchmen. No idea on pitchers since I never look at their stats.
I'd almost guarantee a hefty pxp grind though. POTM was my favorite program in '21, fast and fun. In '22 it burned me right the **** out.

Sean Murphy is heating up these last two weeks, but I doubt he hits enough to get it.

Obviously the OP does. Try not to be a Debbie downer.

Sorry Karen.

Adolis Garcia is definitely a candidate but his charisma card is so bad it would need a major overhaul to be worth a potm spot
-
Matt Chapman would be a good option. His best card is a 87 breakout. He's 3rd in WAR and probably wont have a better month all year.
-
Bellinger or Wisdom will finish strong and get the lightning card. (It’s possible I’m a little biased.)
-
Cole and Vlad Jr
-
Jared Kelenic
-
Wouldn’t mind seeing a Spencer Strider. Leads mlb in k’s , K’s per 9. He’s 3-0 with 30 ip and a 1.8 era.
-
I dunno, but I hope the Lightning card is a CORE Card, so it can be used all year.
-
im thinking marsh since they haven't supercharged him and the MLBshow twitter is the Phillies phanatic
